Poll: Which romance did you pick in any of the mass effect games?

I instantly went for Miranda why? Because she was voiced and her face was scanned (which wasnt a perfect job but..) after Yvonne Strahovski *spelling*. At that time I was watching the show Chuck (which is funny) and was like "HEY! I KNOW YOU!" So yes, now you know another person that went for Miranda Mr. TS

I also choose Miranda for the same reason, Chuck is awesome and Yvonne Strahovski is very sexy. She is the reason I played through another playthrough of Mass Effect 1 just so that I wasn't cheating on anyone with Miranda because I was gonna choose Miranda every time.

Well, as long as long as you do all the loyalty missions and upgrade the normandy everyone should live. Oh, and you have to choose the right people to do tasks for the last mission, for example choose Jacob to be the second team leader.[/quote]


Game informer just did an artical about who to use when and how to have everyone survive. For me? This worked everytime

Legion as infiltrator (the first special mission)

And garrus as the first assult leader.

The second time around you can either use garrus again for the assult leader or Jacob

Use jack or The Asari as the person to hold the biotic field.

Send Morrdin back to the ship with the survivors, Because he ussually dies when trying to hold the line.

And bring thane and grunt with you on the final battle. I donno if it matters who you bring then, but thats what I did and I got everyone out alive.

((Oh and yeah, you need to ubgrade the normandy fullly)

I didnt even know shepard could die for awhile, until game infromer did that artical on the ending. Its interesting I wonder what they'lll do with that.

Tali. I thought she sucked in the first game, but in the second she was developed into one of the best characters in the series (I love Garrus as well). All the other female characters were awful compared to her. I thought it was a sign of the quality of Bioware's character developments that Tali, as a returning character, was more interesting than the new characters. Although, to be honest, I didn't much care for any of the new cast, except for Legion, who is awesome and should have joined your squad much earlier on.

Really? I loved the second cast just as much as the first. The only person I didnt care much for was Semana? I dont remember her name, the Asaria Matriarc, she was OK, but nothing special.

I didn't really like the first game's cast either, aside from Garrus and Wrex. Kaiden and Ashely were pretty bland and Tali was severely underdeveloped. Liara was OK, but not great.

I like how both of our endings too those replies both ended int "(insert name here) was OK, but not (Insert adjective here)"

Anyway, what did you like so much about Tali?

Apperently after some researching of the web. I foudn that you could get a romance with Garrus in Mass Effect 2! I'm not entirely sure how accurate this is, so Im asking if anyone knew this and/or fell in love with Garrus,

You can romance with anyone on your team, except for Mordin (doesn't like to get personal and will kindly reject attempts of flirting), Grunt (...yeah) and Justicar (same with Mordin, she's your servant, but will politely state that she's flattered by your attempts at romancing with her). Oh and obviously Legion, since he's not a human. And Joker...


Also, Tali for me. Because she sounds cute. Yes, lame reason, but works. Miranda seemed like a plastic angsty moaner, Jack was even worse and emo.

it's the mystery behind not having a face, the fact that you don't know what she looks like, it's the sense of not being entirely sure what she was.She won our affection because of her character itself, back story and personality and development, rather than just a well rendered female figure, with a back story as deep as a tea-tray...

besides, what's the point of getting an alien girl, if they're basically just a green human?

Actually you can romance with the justicar if your a paragon. It wont get you a relationship, since she says her duties come first, but she admits her feelings to you.

I wanted Tali in the first game, but she wasn't an option. I was so pleased when she came back as an option in the second game (and looking hotter to boot).
