I'd go with Star Wars. Then again, I guess even that depends on which age since it has like 20 millennia of history written for that bloody genre.

Futurama, relatively peaceful in comparison to the ones you've listed, and I'd imagine it would be pleasant to live in.
Second. Why was this not on the list!? *Cries*
I don't know I'M SORRY oh god what have I done. In all seriousness it just slipped my mind.(never been into Futurama.)

Also Why I didn't put Pern on the poll. I haven't read any of them yet. I know it's like blasphemy, and my family verbally assault me when they remember I haven't read them yet.

Rapture city... before everyone went insane with adam and the such. Being able to grab a bottle of Incinerate and be able to shoot fire from my fingertips sounds pretty good.

But it is doomed to go insane.

Definitely Mass Effect. I'd spend so much time at places like Afterlife trying to pick up some hot asari! Also because it's a pretty cool looking future.

Honestly (although I've never actually played a Warhammer 40K game either the boxed set or a video game) it's hard to pick. Star Trek has some awesome technology, Star Wars has some glaring technological holes but also swords'n'magic in space. Mass Effect, on the other hand, *doesn't* seem all that peaceful to me; everywhere you turn, there's racism, raiders, and mad science, to say nothing of the fact that humans haven't even been at peace with the other races for a whole generation if I recall correctly.

I pick Futurama though ^.^ Although I suspect that Fry & Co. are careful to keep themselves ignorant of some of the misery in the world; those suicide booths have to be there for something.

Starship Troopers would be fun if I lived. Shooting bugs and travelling the world.
Warhammer 40,000 would be fun if I lived. Being the most powerful soldier alive is a great feeling right? Yes I know training is vigorous...

So basically either of the two.

I would go with the Outlaw Star anime setting. Space travel based around fronteer style justice and outlaws (aka privateer's) making their living with a huge variety of jobs. Yes please!

Rather live in? Star Trek.

Thinks is the coolest? 40K.
Yea that is definitely my answer as well.

Star Trek is a better place to live, but 40k is cooler.

Mass Effect...

Sexy Aliens...

Nothing else needed...
Tali....that is all.
I'm more of a Liara person myself... The heavy Russian accent doesn't suit her...

I keep expecting her to say "Hey Shepherd! Lets go bowling sometime, eh?"

Unless I could get a 100% guarantee that I'd be a Jedi, I'm gonna have to go with Star Trek. There are plenty of sexy aliens and you have replicators + holodecks. How perfect can a universe get? I'd also get to go drinking with Scotty and that's awesome.

Otherwise, Star Trek. Exploring space...that's my dream
