There are some great movies out there. There are also some terrible ones. Anyway, I thought I would make this poll after seeing the new Pirates of the Caribbean. Your allowed to mention your own if you really find it necessary but I would prefer if you stuck to the choices in the poll. When I say a movie series, I mean that there has to be at least 3 of them. As for me, always been a big LOTR fan, with Pirates close behind.

EDIT: Poll didn't appear : /

Movies? That's tough...

I guess I'd have to go with the one I can enjoy whenever, and that would be the Bourne trilogy. But if it's the one I respect the most, or can get the most into when I'm in the right mood, it would be Lord of the Rings for respect, and Star Wars that I can get the most in to (ALL of them, yes, including the prequel trilogy. Haters gonna hate.)

Let's up the ante a bit here and go to video games, though.

I kind of count Awakening as a separate, if very short, Dragon Age game, so as for games that hold my attention the most, it would definitely be Dragon Age, followed by Halo, then Assassin's Creed, then Mass Effect.

Or you could, you know, type your opinion instead of contributing jack shit to the potential conversation.

There is no poll. For movies, i think I'm a fan of harry potter in all likelihood. as far as series are concerned anyway.

The Dollars Trilogy (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is my all-time favourite movie) and the Indiana Jones original trilogy (yes, I quite obviously excluded the last abortion of a film).

I will always stand by two things regarding Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

A) It is, by and far, better than Temple of Doom.

B) It is a decent movie, just a horrible Indiana Jones movie.

I will admit, Temple of Doom does rank below Raiders and Last Crusade but I still prefer it over Kingdom. While Willie and Short Round rank as two of the most annoying Indiana Jones characters ever, I really enjoyed the different setting, antagonists and story of Temple of Doom.

I will concede to your point that as a stand-alone movie, Kingdom is pretty decent, but I'm going to have to disagree with it being anywhere better than Temple.

Series?

Tough choice between the Matrix and Star Wars.

The sequels for the Matrix and prequels for Star Wars are always talked down about like they're the worst things that could have been made for their respective franchises, but I like them.

...I'll go with The Matrix just for the Smith fight scene in Reloaded.

Favorite series of all time?

Hmm... if I could take just the Original Star Wars Trilogy, then the answer would definitely be Star Wars.

Since episode 1-3 exist, I'll have to hand that title over to Toy Story. Toy Story 3 definitely sealed the deal for me. It appeals to all ages and there a message in there for everyone. And it goes to show that you don't have to follow mainstream conventions to make an excellent series.
