I'm mostly not a bookreader. Dresden Files changed that. Love the style and Butcher really puts in the effort to change it up between books to keep new stories fresh, rather than rehashed plotlines.

Read all of them. Yeah I'm the kind of guy who reads like 4 books at the same time.
But if you need a series to start with, you're probably done the quickest with Game of Thrones. Then follow up with The Dresden files as whilst they're short, they're pretty short and easy to read. End with Wheel of Time as reading those is pretty much a project that'll take up ages. Because they're both thick and there's a ton of them. I mean my God the first 4000-5000 pages of the series are basically introduction.
