Poll: Which Species are you going to be in ME3 multiplayer

I'm still raging over the fact that the Hanar aren't a playable race! I want to choke out husks with my mighty jelly-fish strength!!!

Heh heh, but seriously, I've always prefered biotic characters so if I do mess around with the multiplayer, I'll likely be an asari.

Salarian or Asari, it's a toss-up. The other species look cool, but those two are my favorite; Salarians because they're Goddamn Salarians, and Asari because to me, they seem more dangerous and badass than a raging Krogan. Like a Jedi compared to a tank.

I'd also like to add that the multiplayer looks both great and completely optional so I just don't see people's problems with it? Personally I'll be paying for live just to play this!

Get your damn multiplayer out of my Single player story based game.

But it's not your game, it's Bioware's game, and if they want to put it in then you're out of luck.

They don't want to put it in, EA wants them to put it in, EA thinks single player is dead thus every game needs multiplayer. It adds nothing to Mass Effect, except a mode maybe 2000-3000 people will play at peak times. It's waste of development time and resources.

And the single-player will still have all of the time and resources that the last two had, so it's not detracting from anything.

For the purpose of the discussion I'll either be a Drell (because I loved Thane) or if there are race specific perks, I'll go for whatever race I feel has the best one (or best suited to my gameplay).

I will however most likely not even bother with the multiplayer.

In case some of you missed it, we've gotten a fairly decent trailer of the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer mode, apparently called special forces.


From the looks of it I'd say it might include some objective based modes, but as it is just a trailer I can't say for sure. What I can say for sure is that it looks like wee have quite a few species to chose from, as do we classes. If you look close, you'll also see that we get two abilities and a piece of equipment, we'll probably use the hotkeys for them. So anyway, what are your thoughts on the multiplayer and which race are you going to be? Personally I'm going to be a boring boring Human soldier.

4. Quarian

I wonder if you can get Turians with bio powers and Asari with tech powers? Every Asari I've seen has had bio powers *remembers some dealings with tech shielded asari assasins* ok, never mind, its likely they will.

That's my order, but then again, I don't know the scale of the choices, it might be like chosing between Yoshi and Toad in Mario Kart 64, its only going to affect 'that' game, its not a permenant thing, or it could be you cultivate a character specifically for multiplayer - who knows?

Gotta go with Quarian. They are the galaxy's definition of nerd power, so why not? Plus Tali has always been my favorite character in ME, so might as well make my MP character an homage to her.
