Poll: Which Upcoming FPS will be best?

So my friends, which of upcoming shooter you think will be best or will become your favourite one?

I go with Doom 4. its best game coming out imo. its my type of game. Old school gameplay with no regen health or take cover, etc plus its running on ID tech 6. i will be comepletely blown away by this game. i saw a preview of quackcon and it sound like what i want.

New Unreal tournament will be too excellent especially its PC exclusive. same as Star citizen. not a pure FPS but it has FPS section when not in ship. Far cry 4 looks decent aswell.

anyway what do you think will be best? discuss and vote.

I watched a preview on IGN and it literally caused me to orgasm multiple times. Per minute.

It's going expand my intellectual horizons with it's innovative, immersive and genre-defining innovations in immersion. It shall be talked about for decades to come as the watershed moment in which gaming transcended this material plane of existence. The date of its release shall become the new Year Zero, the date by which all other things are measured. All that which came before shall be forgotten as the PreCod Dark Age, while all that come after will count themselves blessed to live in such enlightened times.

All other games shall shrink and cower before the peerless incandescent glory of Future Warfare as it strides forth to lead the faithful into a new golden age.

I've really been wanting a fast-paced arena fps for a while now, so the new Unreal Tournament is probably the better bet for what is 'best'. Time will tell if my bet pays off.

"Doom" and the word "best" really have no business being anywhere near each other. That said... why isn't there a "other" option, or a...they all suck option? I mean hell...I'm unsure how I even split most of those games apart...the best will be...screw it, whichever I get on PS+ I suppose...you know that'd actually be a better poll than this one (funny too as Halo 5 on a PS+ poll would be hilarious).

Meh, Killing Floor 2 seems the only stand-out for me, half I'm just not interested in and the other half seem a blur of forgettable, boring, overpriced, learn in 1 minute master in 5 piles of meh that we've seen many times before.

Shadow warrior has guns but the real weapon is the sword. It's first person but not really that much of a shooter...but yeah i enjoyed it.

I can't agree with your opinion on consolized though...i've been playing games since before doom and all first person shooters are basically point your gun at someone and click to kill. Click faster than the opponent and you win. I actually prefer playing them with a pad because that adds a sniff of extra difficulty but frankly it's a genre for people who don't like to be challenged by difficulty or by having to think. My first experience of the quick kill style that COD has adopted was Rainbow six...so can we call them 'Rainbow six clones' instead of 'COD clones'...which is funny since COD was a pc exclusive first aswell lol. Consolized indeed

I just glance at list and just let out the loudest "meh" ever mehhed. I guess Far Cry 4? It looks like a pure copy-paste of the previous game, but hey! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Everything else is just meh. I even bought Destiny and I still think that.

FPS is the lowest genre out there and has always been no "consolisation" required. Some have attempted to be a little more granted but most of them are paradoxically what you hate so...yeah.

Evolve. I understand it's probably not on the list because it could also be considered of the TPSSEAGBB genre - (third person stomp, smash, eat, and generally be bad-ass) and its inclusion would not be fair to other less colossal-monster-inclined contestants.

Because fuck yeah arena FPS. UT3 burned me a little too much to pick the new one over Toxikk. For now. My only worry is, perhaps, that it'll lack the weapon variety I used to love in UT99.
