and what FPS you have been playing? try Stalker series.
Wrong answer buddy, that never works as an adequate response to a comment like that.
I don't understand the praise STALKER gets. It's a decent game, but nothing unique or spectacular. I actually find the handling of the weapons pretty poor. Something tells me it's wield out as a great series because it's a PC exclusive...

Team Fortress 2 because we really don't need a new fps. Seriously am I the only one who looked at game play trailers for the first four games and couldn't tell them apart. Now if Max Payn 4(I know not an fps) was on that list than I would be excited.

So my friends, which of upcoming shooter you think will be best or will become your favourite one?

I go with Doom 4. its best game coming out imo. its my type of game. Old school gameplay with no regen health or take cover, etc plus its running on ID tech 6. i will be comepletely blown away by this game. i saw a preview of quackcon and it sound like what i want.

New Unreal tournament will be too excellent especially its PC exclusive. same as Star citizen. not a pure FPS but it has FPS section when not in ship. Far cry 4 looks decent aswell.

anyway what do you think will be best? discuss and vote.
Nice hype piece bro. You can't possibly know what the game will be like when it's released unless you've already tried an early build, and even then games are subject to change.

The only one I'm looking forward to though is Far Cry 4, and maybe Killing Floor 2 if I ever find some friends that play PC games.

Legitimately thought "Doom" referred to the next Brutal Doom until I remembered it was being rebooted, and now I regret voting for it.
Actually, the rebooted Doom has apparently taken some inspiration from Brutal Doom, so that alone makes it the most promising of the options.

I guess it depends what you want out of it, in a way. I'd totally agree that as a shooter it's just kind of adequate but I think it's a fantastic survival horror game.

OT: Killing Floor 2 because I loved the first and GOOOOOORE. I love what they're doing with the GOOOOOOORE.

I liked what I saw of Rainbow Six, too but I haven't been following it too much. I just like the idea of the highly interactive, destructible environments and apparently it's going back to its more small-scale tactical roots? I never played the old (pre-Vegas) RS games, but I loved the SWAT games and I hear they're similar. Something like SWAT 4 with crumbling walls and exploding petrol stations would be fun.

Ooh, Star Citizen looks good, too, but I doubt my poor ol' PC will run it and I'm in no hurry to upgrade until new music software stops running on it.

Well, we won't know until they come out.

This thread makes as much sense as pre-ordering.

FPS or no FPS the only game from that list I'm looking forward to is Far Cry 4.
Call of Duty: Future Warfare looks pretty promising as well :)

Stalker is genuinly fun (if broken when you aren't using community made patches). Handling of the weapons is strangely tight to the dificulty (you gain accuracy just like the AI on higher difficulties). Though, I'm speaking about SoC since I never got CS to run and I lost interest in the third game halfway through. But this is just my view on it and I respect your opinion on this.

OT:
Honestly? None of the above, only game this year I'm generally pretty stoked for is Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Edit: Didn't knew that there's a new UT coming.

Killing Floor 2, since I don't really care about any of the other games. I'm interested in UT, Doom, and Star Citizen, but I have no idea if I'll actually enjoy any of them. I love Killing Floor, so I think the sequel is a safe vote.

Hey diesel, are you russian by any chance?

Anyways, I think far cry 4 looks pretty awesome considering it might have yeti hunting in it. I just hope the fire physics are better. Setting stuff on fire in the map editor is the only reason I got far cry 2. I got far cry 3 because it looked awesome and it is pretty damn awesome.

Are people calling Advanced Warfare Future Warfare just to make some light fun of it? Well, anyway, my vote is the new COD, Advanced Future Warfare because I'm a COD and am hoping that it is better than Ghosts.

Far Cry 4 is about the only one that gets any interest from me out of those. I liked Far Cry 3, but I never finished it because I got bored after getting to the second island and getting all the item upgrades I wanted. Just lost the drive to continue playing really. So I'm not sure I'm even going to bother with it. Doom might be okay, if it's anything like Shadow Warrior 2013, which I haven't yet played but heard really good things about.

The others are all uninteresting to me.

I haven't seen anything for Doom, Star Citizen, Halo 5 or Killing Floor 2.
Destiny doesn't look like anything great.
Far Cry 4 looks like a copy/paste of 3, which was good, mind you, but lazy.
Unreal Tournament, whilst promising, is way too early in development.
The only thing that I have looked at and thought looked pretty cool, was Rainbow Six: Siege, and yet there is nothing really new aside from a damn cool destruction engine.

Oh, sorry. I don't play FPS because I'm too smart to play them. The only new game I care about is the new Slender Ripoff/Amnesia Ripoff/Retro Throwback/Quirky Indie Platformer/LoL Ripoff.

OT: I played the Destiny beta and it was pretty fun. I didn't even know they were coming out with a new Unreal Tournament.

Far Cry 3 was good and I had lots of fun with it so I guess Far Cry 4... but let's be honest it's all about Pokemon in the end

I find it kind of funny how people are talking about how "high" or "low" a genre of game is here. I would think all game genres are more or less equal, and it's the games that fit into those genres that determine it's elevation.

For the record, I voted for Killing Floor 2. The premise is simple and enjoyable (kill zombieclones, get money, upgrade, repeat), and it's good, splattery fun (and I enjoyed the first one quite a lot, as well). For the others, I'm going to withhold judgement on Doom and Destiny until they actually hit shelves (I can't count all the games that have looked good but been terrible over the years). I know next to nothing about Star Citizen (though from what little I've seen it looks pretty cool). Unreal Tournament is waaaay off, and while I'll be happy to see a new entry in the series, it's really early in development, so it kind of falls under the same "wait and see" rule. I enjoyed the original Rainbow Six games, but the recent ones have been kind of lackluster, to me. As for the Far Cry series, while I acknowledge that they're good games, I just can't really get myself to care about them much.
