I'm one of those "The world is a mess, and I... just need to rule it" supervillains. I don't want to destroy the Earth! That's where I keep all my stuff!

(Can one take over the world with obscure references?)

My plan is simple. Find a way to sterilize about one-third of the human population is random chunks across the world. In the next generation there are now big pockets of no-human, and they will become over run with plant life. With less humans, animals like cows and pigs would also decrease, and be replaced by grass and trees. This means that the animals (produce methane and CO2) will decrease in population, and plants (filter methane and CO2) will increase in population. This will mean more greenhouse gasses are being filtered than produced relative to how it is now, and global warming will decrease, possibly reverse. By sterilizing large groups, we can save the planet and humanity as a whole without resorting to killing people on mass.

Revenge-driven. Just pure anger and hate, seeing nothing but red. It makes for an interesting character, like Atrocitus (Red Lantern).

The lunacy option because I do not want to be held responsible for anything really. Also being labeled as insane would be pretty fun.

The best choice is the one that makes the hero question whether he's really the hero. I choose number one.
"Ignorance and hate are no longer the great evils that plague mankind. Now it is greed and apathy. Hunger, disease, war, genocide, injustice, and greed; together we can put a stop to these evils. Join me, and together we can make the world a better place for all. We shall lead humanity into a golden age. Our path may be paved in blood and fire, but we cannot stray, our path is the righteous one. Some will call me evil, but what is one man's terrorist, but another man's freedom fighter?"

I like to think I'd be an affably evil [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AffablyEvil] Anti-villain [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AntiVillain] with plenty of Xanatos Gambits [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/XanatosGambit] up my sleeve.

Yeah, I went with ruling the world and gaining all the power I want.

I could say that I want to rule it to make it better for all of humanity, but honestly I'm just one man trying to decide what's right for 7 billion people. In the end I'd just be making it better in my own eyes, though plenty of people would agree with the changes I make, plenty of people could still see it as a shithole or even worse than it already is.

So, why bother trying to be the one who decides humanity's fate? I'll just focus on numero uno!

"You have met your match, Captain Bland! Prepare yourself for..."

*Walks out of the gascloud, wearing a black labcoat and beak-doctor mask.*

"PROFESSOR PLAGUE!! Ahahaahahaa-haaa!"

With my biotoxins and flesh golems, I would strive towards rebuilding the world, for the good of everyone (except the ones who are dead). I'd send a plague on all the houses of the wicked, and put my Golems to aid the just.

...Or I'd be more likely to just rob a few banks and buy myself a luxurious castle somewhere.

Can I do a combination of
One who thinks he can improve the world according to your vision
and

One who wants to destroy the world to watch it burn

There is only one right answer:

And that's all there is to say, really.
Kinda like that, minus being defeated by the Doctor.

Discord (A.k.a. Q) from My Little Pony works too.

Maybe the Joker, and if he stole this
