The guitar also is nice. It makes a fun twanging noise whenever you hit zombies with it. If all four of you are carrying a guitar it can be quite amusing.

I love me the AK and the OHK Desert Eagle.

For melee I love the Frying Pan because the sound it makes when you hit zombies is hilarious. DONG!!!

The Good 'Ol M-16 Assault Rifle. For when you absolutely need to turn a Zombie into Swiss Cheese.

Second Choice: The Combat Shotgun. For when everything in front of you needs to be a grease stain on the floor.

I haven't played the game, but from the reviews I watched the M16 had a really ugly weapon model. That and the lack of ADS would drive me to my choice from the first game, the pump shotty. (Again, I haven't played the game, so I am unaware if that would be the combat or tactical flavor.)

The Hunting rifle is a weapon that people would expect to find lying around. You can't take it out. So yeah I'll say that.

I usually run around with the tactical shotgun and a melee weapon. There really aren't a lot of opportunites to fight at range which assault rifles are a lot better for. That setup lets you tear things apart as they get in close. If the shotgun isn't available I usually try to find a SCAR-H (the 3 round burst assault rifle) or just a pump shotgun.

Personally, I like the combat rifle. Fast enough to hold down the trigger and let 'er rip, but slow enough that you don't have to waste 50 bullets.

I said Combat Shotgun, but I haven't played much.

Truthfully though they really need to implement a Lawnmower melee weapon inspired by "Dead-
Alive", or whatever name less civilized nations use for that movie. LoTR has eclipsed Peter Jackson's true masterwork.
