Poll: Which World would you rather live in? Digimon or pokemon

Well, I want to be the very best, like no one ever was, so I think you can guess which universe I'd choose.

I never did watch all that much Digimon though, so I can't honestly say if I'd want to live there or not.

(I just noticed I have not gone a single post today without saying the word "fuck." Why is there no badge for that? Most of the other badges are piss easy to get, too!)

I'd love to live in one of the Shin Megami Tensei Series ( particularly Persona or Devil Summoner's Worlds). But there is the whole Satan and God fucking shit up.

Pokemon world, easily. Pokemon rarely has the world-ending danger the Digimon crew has to go through almost daily. That way, I could try to live as normal a life as possible without worrying about dying all the time. Oh, and I suppose I could try to be the very best, like no one ever was, while I'm at it.

Tough question, but I'd have to say Pokemon.

While the fighting -does- make less sense, as there is less of a reason to do so, at least less creatures "die". Digimon, I forget what they called it but it was similar to death while most of the time, Pokemon only faint.

hm... bit of a popularity contest.

While the convenience of keeping angry pokemon in their balls sounds like fun, I would rather just have one massive digimon to keep me company/safe.

I think digimon world is preferable to me since my pet would find me. I'd have to ask someone for a pokeball and actually work to capture a pet in poke-world.

As for survival, if you just choose your battles digimon world would be where it's at. Once you get champion or higher, stick around a lower level region and be a troll. Yeah, I could go for that.

Hmm...hard time deciding between the two but I eventually picked Digimon...

I would rather have one "good" companion rather than many others who cannot speak, are beastial, etc...

It was a hard choice though.

I guess the real question here is if you would rather have a partner or a pet. I voted Pokemon, if only because the world -- as a whole -- would be greater. Whereas Digimon is set in the real world or the virtual world.

If this was a vote of whether I would like to have one Pokemon or one Digimon in the life I currently live, I would take a Digimon.

What's all this talk of Digimon leaving their partners when they reach a certain age?

For me its a tough choice. While I prefer digimon as a series, I think I'd rather live in the pokemon world. Because digimon has that kinda growing older costs you your digimon. Kind of childish to fear this separation, but hey, its supposed to be like a soul companion

We aren't big fans of VS threads, they don't promote discussion, if you could go over the forum guidelines so you know what to do in future it would greatly appreciated
