In the Pokemon world, there is no meat or fish. Only Pokemon. I think I the answer here...
Correct me if I'm wrong.

what person who's played Pokemon (and liked it) didn't want to pick a starter from professor oak or catch your own Pikachu? I remember on the Golden Bridge (i think that's what it was called) and I was asked if I wanted to join Team Rocket. Was I the only one that wanted to say yes?

I'd rather Harry Potter. At least HP's suspension of disbelief still has the "suspension of" part left in it.

As compared to Pokemon which has multiple worlds/realities/continents in which cute little fuzzy elemental animals shock/burn/cut/tackle/freeze/douse/etc/etc.. you into unconsciousness and do god knows what to you while your KO'd. And it never ends. Ever. And at one point, you just become too strong for the world.

HP - suspension of disbelief = intact
PM - suspension of disbelief

forgive me. I started hating PM when the fourth batch came out. And, insult to injury, now the games AND the names are just getting stupid.

Harry Potter beacause...

Imagine...the dicks in real life. Terrorist, the dicks in high school, criminals, using all-powerful creatures to wreak ha-....you know what? Just play SMT: Devil Survivor. That basically would sum up how the world would look like in a Pokemon world

Plus, I like the idea of blowing shit up with my fingertips, rather than throwing some ball. Pokemon are still kewl though.

Pokemon. I mean come on would you rather run around all day making your pets beat the snot out of each other or have a society of evil people potentially killing you because your parents wouldn't know magic if David Blaine pulled a rabbit out of the Statue of Liberty's nose.

No question, most definitely Harry Potter's world. I've wanted nothing more since I read the first book. That was around 9 years ago. I genuinely cried when I didn't get my letter from Hogwarts. Although if that world existed, and I didn't know about it, that would suck. Ugh. Don't care much for the Pokemon world - don't stab me, anyone, but I found it a little lacking in...substance? I don't know. Just didn't get into it. Maybe it was the voice acting.
