This is a question I have often wondered about, but have never come to an answer to. I ask this to my friends, but they either answer too quickly and give it no thought, or are unable to choose.
Imagine This: You have just committed a crime and are taken to jail. The judge gives you a choice of which punishment you would want (Not sure how often that actually happens). You are given two choices:
1) Go to jail on a life sentence, with no chance of parole. (It is also impossible to escape.)
2) Go to death row and be executed.
Which option would you choose, and why?
