Sorry, but unless you do another poll on who owns what machine, then you have a big problem with this poll - if, say, 30 'Pists have premiums, and half die, and 10 'Pists have Elites, and half of those die, then the probability of failure is still the same, it is just that more people on the Escapist own a premium.
Baneat also makes good points - 'hardcore' gamers may be more likely to own a premium or elite, and will therefore play it much more than someone with a basic core 360, meaning you will, again, have useless results.
The best way to do this would have been either using a website designed for surveys, or having a template in the original posts asking multiple questions.

That isn't what he was saying at all - he said that people who buy premiums are usually more 'hardcore' gamers than those who buy core machines. This means that a premium
may be more likely to fail, as a hardcore gamer with a premium may use it far more than a casual gamer with a core machine.
