I played that, you know. Great game, my second favorite overall. I've played them all EXCEPT for these 4. But people seem to ignore that and keep suggesting shit I've already played. The color is so that people read this and stop suggesting these games. Nothing personal to you.AC Medina said:Super underrated/undiscovered Zelda game: The Minish Cap on the GBA

And now I just don't know where to start. I've never played any non-handheld Zelda game before, and I suddenly own the Collector's Edition, which includes Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. I also bought Wind Waker and Twilight Princess (Wii version).
WHERE DO I START?!
I never played ANY of these before. Except for a demo of Wind Waker at a store.
Edit: I did play the original NES Zelda before, to anyone who suggested that. It was on the GBA. Also, Phantom Hourglass AND Spirit Tracks suck due to excessive and boring travel, imo. My current favorite game is Oracle of Seasons. And I played Link to the Past before on GBA, too.
It might be one of those things you need to adjust to, the blocky graphics and movement I mean, you should least try to get to the first temple before dumping it. Also I found it really difficult to use the ol' N64 controller again after playing the Gamecube for so long, I couldn't really be bothered but thats because it's all on the Wii forme anyways.Onyx Oblivion said:It pretty much unanimous for Ocarina of Time, it seems. Now, if only I didn't have to use the ridiculously uncomfortable GC controller...Fuck you, Nintendo, and your oddly shaped contollers.
I'll give it a whirl, if I don't like it and/or find its graphics have aged EXTREMELY TERRIBLY, I'll go with Wind Waker. As its different. And the sailing can't be worse than PH.
This is why I'll always prefer hand-drawn or 2D or stylized games. The graphics age well.Nazulu said:It might be one of those things you need to adjust to, the blocky graphics and movement I mean.Onyx Oblivion said:It pretty much unanimous for Ocarina of Time, it seems. Play WindWaker second. After OOT.Onyx Oblivion said:Except for a demo of Wind Waker at a store.
You may be slightly biased. *looks at name and avatar*ToonLink said:Wind Waker. Possibly one of the best Zelda games in history.
HELL yes. the sailing was SO bad. it wasn't because the trips took ages or you had to do them a lot, it was because they took ages AND you had to do them a lot. would have been great if Link whipped out a GBA/DS during the long trips.Dr. Wily III said:if you thought the traveling in the DS ones were boring, you will not be any happier with Wind Waker.
