Haha, i'm sorry, but i immediatly thought of this when i saw that, it made me laugh.
Oh, snap, shit just got real! Blood will rain from the sky and the rivers will overflow with cucumbers!

I would say wheat, because there are so many different kinds of wheat, so you can have twenty different loaves of wheat bread, but only one, maybe two, of white.

I mostly enjoy wheat, but occasionally white bread tastes really good. I couldn't imagine myself eating it all the time.

Honestly, I'm thinking there must be a hole in my english dictionary education or something, because I'm still thinking that wheat bread, as in bread made from wheat flour, is a subset of white bread. Making wheat-based bread by definition white bread.

Obviously I must be wrong, anyone care to educate me?

White bread is made from wheat flour that has been processed to remove the bran and germ. Wheat bread is a less processed brown bread that has a more distinct taste because it's made from the whole wheat kernel (in the case of whole wheat bread). I prefer wheat for everything except peanut butter sandwiches. I used to eat a lot of potato bread and I've been trying oatmeal bread lately. It's not bad but kind of lumpy.

Ahh, I though this had something to do with the actual types of cereal grains, not what parts of it were used. My bad. In my native language the equivalent would be asking if you like whole-grain flour bread or white flour bread. The fact that OP talked about 'wheat' as in a spefic type of cereal grain (at least as far as I understood it) messed me up.

White? No. Wheat? Nah. Whole grain? Hell yea. I love that really dark bread, it's so tasty, especially when it's fresh. Plus it's veeery healthy. Too bad it's also veeeery expensive, so we barely actually eat it.

I don't really care between the two that much so I typically go for wheat because it's healthier.

Annnnnd we've officially crossed "the line."

Anyway, I don't think I care.
But I can't be sure.
Come on Max, lighten up, it's all in good humour.

I despise white bread with every fibre of my being. If it were my bread of choice, I would be a lot unhealthier, seeing as how sandwiches are pretty much THE main food I eat.

On a side note, I find it amusing that on the French side (I live in Canada) of bags of bread, it reads: "100% Pain"
