we all know that the UK wans to ban MOH because you can play Taliban warriors in the multiplayer BUT allot of shooters in the past allowed you to play Nazis whilst nobody had problems with that so who do you think is worse Nazi,s or Taliban? EDIT: I jus read it isnt getting banned but still its fuel for debate

Nazi's killed 6 million Jews, which is more than the Taliban has ever done.

Medal of Honor isn't being banned in the UK its just our defense secretary was expressing his opinion that he thinks it should be banned. Liam Fox has no real say as to whether or not the game is sold in the UK, that is up to the BBFC and as far as I can find the BBFC passed Medal of Honor as an 18 due to gore.

In answer to what I imagine is the point of the question, no it doesn't really make much difference if the non allied team models are Nazi's or Taliban.

To answer what you did ask, the actions of the Nazi's were worse. But the taliban is still a bit of a sore spot for more people.

It works here. Nazis are okay to have in, because they are an accepted evil that was over half a century ago. Taliban are now. The timing makes it less than acceptable.

I can't vote. Neither are worse than the other. The two are incomparable, if I may be so bold. I can't choose between fanatical fundamentalists and power hungry elitists. Also, isn't this a versus thread?

I would say that based on actions, the Nazis are worse (holocaust, WWII, etc)
But based on what each group wants(wanted), the Taliban are worse.

Explanation:
Nazi success requires an initially great amount of bloodshed and misery, but once the "aryans" rule the world, there would be peace.
Taliban success also requires a great amount of bloodshed and misery, though possibly (due to the ability to convert/obey to avoid death) less than the Nazis, except that a world ruled by the taliban's values would subjugate women for as long as they ruled.

A metaphor for comparison:
The Nazis would kill two people. The Taliban would kill one and then make one person (and one of that person's children, etc) a slave, forever.

I agree that the Nazi's crimes have been much worse overall than the Taliban's. But at least the Taliban weren't led by someone they were supposed to be killing all along.

As far as Video Games I'd have to say Nazis as well for a better more organized military force.

It's gonna sound pretty harsh... but for me, it's the Taliban... at least right now. Sure if I were alive back whent the Nazi's were out to dominate and cleanse, I'd probably understand how much more 'evil' they were. But since in the modern day they're no (known) threat to me, I'm going with Taliban, who ARE a threat to me.

Imagine if the Taliban had comparable resources to what the Nazi's had. They'd probably be worse than the Nazi's were.

Ofcourse they don't; so they aren't.
