I mostly just uppercut zombies with my fire axes anyway (ANALOG CONTROLS FTW!) but throwing it at a walker's face to see him fall square on his butt, and then HEY would ya look at that? The weapon's right back in my hand without having to go grab it!
Plus his fury ability fuckin DOMINATES (once killed 2 thugs a ram and 5 walkers with ONE fury.)

You guys a lucky. I haven't even been able to start my game yet. Apparently UPS won't deliver when you get 3 feet of water in your home town.

I'm playing as Purna, I'm mainly playing it through with a friend and I heard she was a good support character.
Seems good so far the Gun fury technique is good for clearing big bads or lots of zombies. My friend is playing as Logan. He threw a machete last night and it landed square in this zombies butt, it was pretty funny.
