Patchouli is my favourite.
Reisen is second.
Although Utsuho and Hong Meiling are pretty cool too.

Touhou is a vertical scrolling shoot-em-up, similar to Raiden or Xevious, but with a thousand more bullets. It is called a Danmaku (Curtain-fire) or Bullet Hell game because the screen gets saturated in bullets and you have to try to weave through them while shooting at enemies, or the boss (See AlphaOmega's post above). If you like a challenging game of that variety, then I recommend downloading it. Its best to start with Touhou 6: The Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil.
Even though she's cool, I think Hong Meiling is the scariest Touhou character. Sure, Flandre is insane, but she doesn't punch you to death with Rainbow colours.
I like most of the characters, but Aya, Momiji, Sakuya, Yukari, Mokou, everyone from the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Kaguya and Reisen are my favorites. Aya being most favorite.
Say, this may be kind of off topic (a bit at least),
but has anyone got the 'Labyrinth of Touhou' to work?
I've gotten to work, but if I try to play the english patched version it crashes.
On that note I have had no luck getting 12.3 Hisoutensoku to work with netplay.
If anyone knows of this issue, or a way to fix it, any help would be appreciated.
