Most certainly her. I'm not the one that doesn't want to get pregnant, and wearing a condom is a pain in the ass anyways.
If it's a pain in the ass, you're doing it wrong.
I lol'd.

Seriously, actually laughed, out loud.

I've recieved further laughs from individuals who feel the need to point out their use of XL/Magnum/Uber Big Mr. Johnny Condoms because they're so massive. Not calling them ALL liars but...

Wait, yeah I am. Nobody with an actual large cock would feel the need to post about it on this forum. Fuck it, if I had a knob that big I'd simply be walking through city centres naked using it to beat people unconscious before I shag their girlfriends.

I think the best way to handle it is to have whoever's penis it's going on buy the condom. Condoms need to fit right to work properly. That or a woman could buy a female condom, but those are usually more expensive.

Most of the people I know in exclusive heterosexual relationships don't use condoms, hormonal birth control is far more common.
Condoms are incredibly stretchy and you are unlikely to find them in more than two sizes (with the second size really only there to boost guy's egos. You could put a regular sized condom over your head. Nobody has a penis that large.
Hell you can fit them over phone booths if you boil them. So yeah the second "size" is often only for the guys ego unless he has medically concerning girth.

Anyhoo, for me in the past its always been we buy equally or someone, usually me, buys them and then we split the costs. That way no one feels cheated.

Both parties are equally responsible for birth control. If she gets pregnant, you're both at fault.

Personally, I would buy the condoms, since I think strangers look down more on a woman buying condoms than a man buying condoms. Also, by buying birth control, I ensure that I have it. HOWEVER, I would split the bill. Both parties are responsible, and both should pay.

Birth control (pills) should be handled by the woman, since pills are pretty specific per person. Unless the guy knows exactly which type to get. Once again, the bill should be split.

IMO, if you can't afford birth control, you shouldn't have a sexual relationship, since you definitely would not be able to afford a child.

If you were TRULY well endowed, you'd beat them unconscious WHILE you shag their girlfriends.

Yeah, I get that. I say that and people are all like o_O? because it is apparently something you dont see often on here (maybe its because of all the porn.....)

I mean no offense, but they are kinda dated...
Not where I live. Again, ignoring the "There is a 70% chance it will fail because of her family curse" (Didnt think I was serious about that, did you?), The whole "Wait until marriage" thing is considered the norm around here and we get along just fine.

Besides, both of us are more at home behind a videogame controller and the wheel of a car (me)/reading a book(her) than we are even thinking about.................um.....that.

Please tell me you're joking.

In high school, a woman came and did a sex ed demonstration, and put her whole fist a condom. A standard sized common. I'm going out on a limb and saying a standard condom can accommodate pretty much all penises.

In my case, its neither. We dont really want to tempt fate before we are married so we are not having sex until we are married. Plus both of us believe in only have sex to have children, so theres that.
People who use the "abstinence" method are statistically as likely to have sex but, lacking the preparation of condoms or other contraceptives available are more likely to deal with pregnancies and STIs.

Though I'm inclined to agree with those who have labeled this a dated mindset anyway. But whatever floats your boat. I'm going to be enjoying copious amounts of safe sex, personally

Neither. Partner is allergic to latex.
There's like a million different types of nonlatex condoms. And these days, they're priced about the same.

Used to be sex with someone with a latex allergy was EXPENSIVE.

Seems like we're polar opposites of eachother then! XD
Then again, I don't think I'm the one to judge others on what they believe.

If everyone would refrain from thinking their way of life is clearly superior, this'd be a hell of a better place.

Actually, neither of us buys condoms, though we do use them. She is on a Peer Advocacy board, and I am a former president of our university's GSA. So we both interact much with Planned Parenthood and the local reproductive health centers, as well as national safer sex awareness campaigns.

So we pretty much do not ever need to buy them for a good long while. Loving the perks of our positions.

Condoms stretch fine for girth, but not all of them are long enough for well endowed men. There's also thickness of the material to take into account.

I've already pointed out in this thread - just because they CAN stretch to accommodate much larger objects, doesn't not mean that one size will fit all penises in practice.

For starters, regular-sized condoms only unroll to a length of about 7 inches (18 cm). Proper use requires the condom to be unrolled all the way to the base of the penis (no doing so greatly increases the risk of the condom slipping off), which with a regular-sized condom in therefore impossible for roughly 1 in every 10 men.

Secondly, some penises are sufficiently thick that regular-sized condom cannot be comfortably unrolled down the entire length. Furthermore, the more the condom stretches, the more likely it is to break - remember, it's not enough for the condom to simply accommodate the penis inside it, it must also hold up under the friction involved in sex.

I have personally seen penises (not my own, lest someone mistake this for a brag post) that are too large for a regular-sized condom, and must therefore use large condoms. Reality trumps theory.

Yeah, this was already debunked in a response to you. I'm kind of disappointed that you're continuing this line of argument.

I disagree, sir. I had to switch from regulars to magnums because the regulars were choking my unit to the point to where I would lose, and be unable to regain my erection. For me, regulars are tight to the point of being almost painful. Once I switched, it was like day and night; they were much more comfortable.

Good for you and your large penis, I guess? I know you are going to argue against it and realistically it doesn't matter as long as the things don't slip off, but the latex can actually stretch a lot before it's stretch resistance should get anywhere close to the point it bothers most people. So either your penis is unrealistically large, you have a mild sensitivity to the lubricant in whatever regular sized condoms you tried before switching, you have erection troubles and any odd sensations present problems, or it is all in your head.

Possibly a combination of factors.

Either way, as I said. It doesn't matter as long as it doesn't slip off. Besides if you had read a little more of the thread I would have already clarified that it wasn't like I didn't believe there where not people that had difficulties with regular condoms, only that they where extremely few and far between. Not the norm in any way.

Mind if I ask about your response to the people showing videos of condoms stretching to the size of legs? I'm not throwing doubt about your penis size (because how the hell would I know?) but I do think Magnum condoms promote the idea that condoms have certain set sizes, but I've personally put a 'regular' condom on my arm without much stretching.
They can actually stretch quite a bit more than that, a Trojan Magnum can fill with enough water to fill a bath tub.

I believe in a Karma system when it comes to buying condoms: for every time she sends you out to buy her...ahem..."feminine needs" products, SHE then has to go out and buy the rubbers. ::nodnod::

And while we're on the subject, I've some sagely words of advice to offer:
"Remember kids, condoms are a lot cheaper than diapers."

I buy them condoms. I eat awkward moments for breakfast. *Slams the pack down with pride on the conveyor belt*
