Poll: Who do you co-op with?

Usually with any of the group of friends I've known for years. Online most of the time, because it's hard enough to have everyone available at the same time, let alone have them in the same place as well.

And according to the captcha, Skynet watches. It referenced one of our in-jokes. My god...

Co-op local is my preference.

Online can go wrong in so many ways, plus unless you have a headset, it just doesn't feel all that fun.

Now as for who I co-op with? Depends.
Simpler games I prefer to co-op with my little brother. Stuff like Arcade games or Lego Star Wars. He follows instructions pretty well, and can actually be quite funny! XD

Best friend is my goto for co-op though. We have such a blast messing around with games, and we co-ordinate very well too.

The worst person to co-op with though is my Older brother.
Our personalities are polar opposites, and we clash all the time when we play with each other.
I prefer to take things slowly, observe the environment and you know, just take it all in and have fun.

He prefers to rush. He's aggressive, andrenaline-fueled COD-junky. Me messing around just makes him boil with rage.
Our skill levels and playstyle become a hindrance to each other, and we both end up performing WORSE together than we do as individuals! XD

My sister. Timesplitters, Uncharted 3, Left 4 Dead, TF2, Star Wars Battlefront, etc. She's not as good as me.

A friend, sibling or my girl friend. Almost always locally. One day I played through all of Super Mario 3 and Donkey Kong Country co-op with a now ex-girl friend. That was totes awesomes.

I spend more time playing with friends I made online, than my IRL friends, mainly because they don't play the games I usually play.
The online friends that I normally play with I've known for years now though, so we have really good team chemistry. We used to be in a clan for CSS, but we all play other games together now.

Is nobody an acceptable answer? I usually don't play co-op games. To be honest, I think there are too many games putting an emphasis on multiplayer and co-op. But, any time that I do, it's usually with my best friend.

I very much dislike the phenomenon as well.

I play them very rarely. The latest being a bit of Diablo 3, with two friends a few months ago, but I prefer to playing games like that alone too. The previous almost a year ago was BF3, and even that with the incentive to unlock interesting weapons. BF3 had good co-op missions, though voice chat is pretty essential. Sometimes, that is quite a lot more often, multiplayer FPS games with a friend, but those don't really count as co-op.

I co-op with my best friend. We don't live in the same town so most of it is online however, when either one of us visits the other, it's couch co-op all the way. We actually actively seek good co-op games as a means to game with each other.

I usually play with my brother. Most of my games are single-player, and even when they're not, my friends tend to have significantly different taste in co-op games.

I usually like to play locally with a friend better, because it gives me reason to focus. If I just screw around like I do online, I'd get beat.

Boyfriend but there's no poll option for that so `somebody else`.

We play together on WoW and have done for ages (but not, sadly, with the upcoming GW2, I'll have to play that on his computer because my laptop is rubbish) and we also do local co-op.
We play TF2 (make a great Heavy/Medic team) and occasionally Halo when he twists my arm.
L4D, Magic, you name it.
Recently we've been playing Rayman Origins and we're really enjoying that.

I love being able to co-op with my boyfriend, seeing as we pretty much talk games non-stop.
Yeah, we're losers.

My brother for achievements. For games like Resident Evil 5, our first three playthroughs (Amateur, Normal, Veteran) he was fine with it, getting achievements, abusing infinite ammo. After that he didn't want to finish the hardest difficulty, meaning I still need to finish it alone...Abusing infinite ammo. We usually play Co-Op games for completion and achievements.

In-person "friends", since I can rely on them to play with me every so often. Portal 2 with an IRL companion is the best co-op experience I've ever had. We would play for hours upon hours, determined to beat each puzzle using our shared brain cell.

My brother. I'm younger so I'm always Luigi. I pretty don't Co-op with one else. I have once or twice Co-oped with a friend but only when in the same room.
