The wheel is a tool of the devil. The only true way to move anything around is to punch it into position with you bare, god given fists.

Edit: Also, curse you for revealing to the world that my Huckleberry Finn comment wasn't razor sharp, off the cuff wit.

Out of the two, Bubblegum. At least she isn't actually evil and destruction incarnate.

Real talk, if she was there, Marceline. They have fun together.

Marceline, of course. She's the best character on the show! Hell, I'd date Marceline and I'm not even into girls. I'd go gay for Marceline. You heard it here first.

Princess Bubblegum comes in a very close second. Though, the Internet seems to be shipping them (MarcelineXBubblegum) after the 'I'm just your problem' song. I imagine quite a few parents would have issues with that.
Thanks mate you've successfully depressed the fuck out of me. o.o

I look at this thread and wonder, "What are these people talking about?" Then I see a video in a comment and realize that Adventure Time has made such an influence that people instantly recognize its characters.

I'm pretty sure that not even My Little Pony: FIM had this kind of influence.
Well, considering the pony characters have instantly-recognisable names, I'd argue that you wouldn't need to see any video to realise what the thread was about.

I think they closed off the PB option after she got older again. Now that Finn has a princess to crush on that's his own age he's able to move on. Going back to PB would just be stupid. So yeah, I prefer Flame Princess.

But PB looks all nerdy-sexy in the labcoat and glasses in the last episode I watched with the sphinxes.

Jake, or no one- Finn's fine with no ladies holding back his brosome with his best bud.

When I first saw this show, it looked incredibly idiotic ala Average Show (Which I find to be one of the absolutely worst television shows). However, hearing about these story threads and how they are attempting to input a continuity, I actually want to start watching this show. The first season was boring to me, were the others better? Where should I start?
It can be silly, though Average Show is much more random (Not to say that's a bad thing, I like Average Show.)

I'd start with the first season, just to see how nicely Adventure Time finds itself and some of the darker themes.

I'd also recommend the show, 'Gravity Falls', which has deep amazing characters and a great story. (Along with a great art style) if you haven't already seen it, that is.

I can't think of anything mind-blowing in the first season, but if you get 2/3rds through it and are still not entertained, I'd just give up. The second episode follows Lumpy Space Princess, and it's pretty weird, so it's not one of the better episodes to judge the whole show on. Shortly after (ep 6?), there is the Enchiridion episode, and not only is it just a good episode that embodies the rest of the series, but it sets in motion some of the plot arcs in the later seasons.

It's a fantastic show, because the characters are deceptively well devolved, and the gags are pretty funny, but it won't be for everyone. Those gags could just be obnoxious antics to someone else, and you have to watch a lot of the show to understand the depth of the character's history and motivations.
