I could care less about the bread.
What ever ends up in my apartment and is not covered in mold.

Personally I have good taste. In other words: a varied one.

White bread can fit nicely for many occasions, but so can wheat- and ryebread.

Pffft, wheat bread? More like, couldn't-afford-a-decent-millstone, bread-like substitute.

Bread is white, fluffy, and does not stick bits of fibrous pulpwood between my teeth. Bread, unless toasted, should not be crunchy.

That woman has bigger problems than your white-breaded sandwich.

Anyway, I like white bread. I like brownish and darker bread as well, as long as it's not bread of the "a lot of seeds and a little bit of bread" variety. But I do mainly eat white bread.

Edit: Oh wait, this is specifically regarding actual sandwiches? Then it's even closer together, imo. I simply flat out prefer white bread on sandwiches.

Honey Wheat bread, deli turkey, swiss cheese, and pesto.

God, pesto just makes an ordinary sandwich into a masterpiece.

Bah, I'm not even British and I know English Muffins are the best bread. Putting orange marmalade on it is like... two.. things that go well together.
I've made home-made English muffins before. They turn out very well.

Chic?
CHIC?

It's BREAD! Bread doesn't have to be skaggin' chic!

I've never really enjoyed things that are incredibly crunchy (Except for tacos) and have lots of little bits that end up in your teeth. So I just find that plain ol' white bread goes down better with me.

Did this woman specifically request a particular type of bread for her sandwich, or was the sandwich that she ordered, explicitly stated to be served on a particular type of bread?

I expect all bread to be white unless explicitly stated otherwise.

What the fudge is chic?

It's bread, as long as it isn't green or have lumps in I am happy to put something on it and munch on it and make a mess 'cos real men don't use plates!

White bread is disgusting. But for some reason I don't mind it for buns.
Funnily enough I stopped wanting white bread inparticular when I was about 6, just as the title of the thread suggests.

You skipped over all the good breads, white and wheat both suck ass. Potato rules them all!

I usually do white bread, have my entire life and I guess I prefer the taste and cost. However, if I am making a true cold cut sandwich, I used New York Style Rye Bread, so delicious.
