Fallout 1 and 2 were brilliant games for me as I had a computer from the dark ages for a long time. They had a fantastic sense of humour to them and the gameplay wasn't too hard to get used to. Fallout 3 wasn't quite as good but it brought back one of the best franchises and it has some stunning set-pieces.

Fallout 1 and 2 are great games, not to mention cheap and easy to find. I prefer 2 mostly because it doesn't have an annoying time limit. I haven't played Fallout 3 yet, as my computer is crappy and can't handle it. Someday, though...

Yes. I've played Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout: Tactics and Fallout: Van Buren.

Fallout and Fallout 2 were great.

Fallout 3 was my first but I went and played Fallout 2 and had alot of fun with it till I guess I broke it cause I thought killing everyone was an option other than democracy for a quest.

After playing Fallout 3, I tried to play Fallout afterwards, and the gameplay just sucked, and sucked hard, I cannot go backwards and play games that are old tech(unless I used to play them when they were new).

I got Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout: Tactics from gog.com when Fallout 3 was released. I wanted to play the originals before diving into Fallout 3. I have yet to finish any of them, and I have yet to buy Fallout 3.

I completely forgot about Fallout Tactics until someone else mentioned it! I didn't get on with it so well, but one of my brothers was really into it

I got into Fallout 2 first, when my stepdad at the time brought it back for me, I loved the game, still do to this day. I played Fallout after that, and then cried over the feeble attempt of the game which is Fallout 3.

The reason I'm like this with Fallout 3 was because the prequels were epic.

Fallout 3 isn't a bad game, if it was called something totally different it'd be a rather good game, a futuristic version of Oblivion.

But the fact is, everytime I play it I think, that'd of been funnier in Fallout 2, his head would of blown up more in Fallout 2, that hooker on the street would of blown me for 5 chips in Fallout 2.

I am glad to be one of the few that has played one of the prequels before Fallout 3.

VERY, happy.

I have Fallout 1 & 2 for the PC. Used to play them when I got home from elementary school and have a plate of apples. Good times.

I've played all of them, though in a strange order. I first picked up Fallout Tactics and absolutely loved the game. While many people thought it was stupid because of the multiple player controlled characters or the semi-turn based gameplay, having just come off of playing Icewind Dale and Baldur's gate I felt right at home. Down the road I picked up Fallout 1 and 2 and played through them. To this day I still prefer tactics for a moment to moment gameplay but the writing and story progression in Fallout 2 were just brilliant.

I even played Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, but it was so incredibly terrible that it doesn't deserve any other mention but that.
