A couple of my boyfriends seemed more interested in their computer games when I was wiggling my naked butt at them from the bedroom *grumblegrumble*amIreallythatunattractive*grumble*.

And okay, it does depend on the person and the situation, and when I've been in not-so-great relationships (I've never been in an actually crap relationship, just ones that weren't going so great) I've just flat out not wanted sex (... with my partner, at least), but overall sex is probably the most important thing in my life. I mean, I'm seriously considering going back on hormonal contraceptives which have already almost killed me by contributing to me getting a pulmonary embolism earlier this year just to improve my sex life.

That's right, sex is arguably more important to me than living, let alone computer games.

I'm sorry but...there is no game which compares to sex for me. If there is, I wana know what games you are playing!!
So much this.

I love games but I don't get really frustrated and grumpy if I don't play them for a while
I don't get frustrated or grumpy if I don't have sex, does that make me odd?

Nah, that post was a bit of an exaggeration.
I do miss it quite a but when I'm not getting any though. Thankfully my boyfriend is normally available when I need him. :D

Would you not try something else?

Although, what are the chances of having deep vein thrombosis caused by the pill twice?

Considering i'm far too anti-social, awkward and generally uninterested in a serious relationship I can safely say the former.

Seriously, girlfriends and the process of acquiring one is just not worth the hassle. Trust me, i'm a professional.

What did you do to them to make them so uninterested in sex? If that happened to me I'd probably have blue balls for the rest of the night.

Very high almost guaranteed. If your body's prone to it, it's just prone to it.

I'm going to get the IUD once I'm off of the blood thinners, but my boyfriend's not so keen on them 'cause they've poked him in the dick before, and I know some women don't get on with IUDs as well. So I guess we'll see how it goes.

But yeah, basically, once you've had DVT once you're more likely to get it again, and because I'm only 23* and got it the doctors reckon I'm probably genetically disposed to it (although I think it's more to do with the fact that I'm sitting at a computer for most of my waking hours, but that's probably not a part of my lifestyle I'm going to change any time soon 'cause I work on it). They'd never let me on the combined pill again but they will allow me on the progesterone only pill because the risk is much lower, but there's still a risk, and they're basically saying "you can go on it if you want but we really really really think you shouldn't".

*miniedit: 22 at the time I got it

Mostly I think they just weren't getting the hint, I've always been rubbish/timid at outright asking. Or, yehknow, maybe I'm just really rubbish in bed and they've all been too polite to say anything. >_>

I think in general I have a higher libido than my boyfriends, though. My current one just plain isn't physically able to have as much of it as I'd like, but we have a relationship where we'll pay attention to each other all the time when we're together (i.e. actually do stuff together) so I don't mind. As opposed to my previous boyfriends who'd invite me to their house, then stick a DS in my hand to keep me occupied while they went about playing their own game or reading stuff on the internet or something else that didn't involve - god forbid - actual interaction with me... /passiveaggressivegrumble

Well which one makes you sweat uncontrollably, yell out loud and make you go red in the face wit-oh wait.

OT: This is of course assuming everyone who sees this thread has had sex. I'll just be over here in the chillin' corner for now.

Edit:

Sex right now because of the lack of good games I'm interested in. I just finished Spec Ops: The Line, that's a damn good game, I play some RO2 and it's great too, but I don't have anything I'm really into, like Fallout 3 a few years back.

Hmmm... Well... Videogames because I'm sure sex will be fun (virgin, woo!) but... I don't know, I guess I've just had so many people put me down and I'm generally nervous about not pleasing people and... Well, I'm pretty sure if sex ends a bit abruptly (early) you can't just reach for the "new game +" button and give it another go...

Also, is it more satisfying to do the nasty with naked ladies or chop your pinky finger off in a dingy apartment for the amusement of some fat bastard..? It's sex, and that's why I play Heavy Rain rather tan go out and try and meet girls...

My gut reaction is sex. But then I think about it, and I think how stressful it can be courting a gal. It takes a lot out of me. I mean it's fun but it wears! And video games are low stress. They're what I do when I'm too lazy to try and establish sexual relations.

So yeah my answer's still sex.

I'd just like to point out that I'm talking casual sex here, things change greatly once I'm talking long term relationship. But that's got a bunch of other baggage, and being out of a five year go of it I'm more than happy to not do that again for awhile.

Considering that I have no interest in sex, I naturally prefer games. Not that I have anything against human interaction, but more because of my comfortable lack of sexual desire. Even if you replace games with chocolate, 7-Up, or a new calculator I would still prefer those over sex.

Except drinking Pepsi. I would rather have sex than Pepsi (or Coca Cola). Rancid stuff *gags*.
