Yup.. Graduated High school & got a BA in Business... got a decent job..

... Brace yourself.. Yes still live with parents at 27.. why? Well because my parents are awesome... I was in a 5 year relationship and still couldn't commit to living with her... Oh..and because I'm cheap and lazy..

.. But I plan on moving out next year. Time to get that done, I suppose. I need to learn to live on my own before I can live with a woman. I require too much *me* time.

I currently am living with my parents. I moved out when I was 19, but got laid off early this year and had to move back with my parents.
Still, 2 years away was a pretty good rung, and I hope the next run lasts considerably longer.

Wow, that is a lot of people. Didn't expect the stereotype to be so true. I have yet to graduate highschool, but I don't plan on living with my parents.

Yes. It is perpetual hell. I cannot find a job. My days are filled with filling out applications never to hear back ever again and walking the family dog. The little bastard gets lots of walks.
Now where were you when that guy in a thread about the protesters was telling everyone that there are always jobs around and that it's just a matter of caring enough to apply?

OT: I moved out when I was 15, but had to move back when I was 19. Now I'd be happy to be able to live with my parents, but I live 13 hours away from home so I only come over during Christmas and summers.

I live on my own; it's been a while since I dropped out of high school. I don't understand the people who say that it's too expensive. I work maybe 25 hours a week and I can pay for everything just fine, with quite a bit left over. Maybe I'm just more frugal. But I definitely don't go to school right now so I understand if that makes it hard to live on your own - no judgement.

I must admit I don't mind the fact I still live with my parents. While I have a job the economy and college being what they moving out right now would be really stupid. And I have the whole 3rd floor to myself so yeah.

No I have been living on my own on and off since I was 16. Only move back in with parents when I went through a couple of relationship breakdowns. I am 24 so been pretty independent for a while now, yes it's tough but you survive.

I moved out at 16 when I started highschool. If I was going to live at home, I'd to travel 3h every day in bus to get to a low-end school.

In the rural areas of Norway that is normal. At least when I come from a place with 300 people, we don't exactly have any schools to go to here.

Yup - no job, no money and at Uni (which may explain the previous point); after this year I'll likely have to move to find work as there is nothing to do where I live; seriously we have 10%+ unemployment in the most unattractive part of the northern UK to set up a new business.

with today's economy, it's really hard to support yourself. Even though I'm working 40 hour weeks, I can't find a place that has cheaper rent than my parents..... although letting them use my tv probrably could be counted as part of the rent.

I'm turning 30 in a few days, and yes I still live in the same house as my mother, but it's more like she lives with me, as it's my house, I pay all the bills and she lives with me because she really has no were else to live

Yes, but that's what most people do around here (assuming you're asking for people who only finished high school), it's hard to find a good place to live here and when you find it it's expensive. Heck, even if you have bachelor's degree you still have to put up with living with your parents because jobs don't pay you enough here.
