Poll: Who in The Last Guardian is going to die?

Actually, I think neither - compared to Ico or Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian seems to have a much lighter, more innocent tone to it - compared to the desperate escape of Ico, and the solemn and gruelling quest of SoTC, TLG seems almost like a simple minded adventure between a boy and his companion.
Considering this in mind, this game might actually have a happy ending to it, where the boy and the gryphon are ok!
Dark and moody is so 2000's - its a new decade, and I think that its time for light and happy to make a return
edit: just mentioning guys, I've never actually played either game (sadly...), so my judgement is purely on what I've heard about each game. I do hope to play them once the Collection edition comes out!

the griffin thing will choke to death after eating the boy, that will cause a fracture in the space time continuum and will cause the whole universe to implode and every single one will die so hard they will respawn in an alternate univerze where the griffin will have to kill 16 colossus while the kid has to rescue the other kid with horns WHILE wanda goes and bones yorda WHILE dormin brings wanda's girl back to life SO SHE CAN HANG OUT WITH ICO AND MAKE THE UNIVERSE RE-IMPLODE AND CREATE ANOTHER ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THE HELL IS GONNA HAPPEN BECAUSE THE GAME WILL NOT BE RELEASED FOR ANOTHER YEAR BUT NOBODY WILL REALLY MIND BECAUSE DUKE NUKEM FOREVER IS COMING OUT AT THE SAME YEAR AFTER 12 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT

The creature will die, or the two will be separated forever somehow. There will be no happy ending for them, I think.
