Are you getting one? Are you undecided? Have you been turned off? Or did you never plan on getting one in the first place?

I had a PSP and yeah it had some great points, but it had some major flaws, many of which seem to have been addressed in the Vita, but is it too late? Well for me no, I'm keen to buy one, I just want to know that there will be the sort of original games continuously as there seems to be at as launch titles. I have a smartphone, but I don't use it for games, it drains the battery when I need it for contacting people and what little games that are available aren't enough to fill my appetite on long journeys or trips away, they are just time wasters for when waiting for a bus or such :/ So I'm in the "definitely" camp unless things change between that time.

Never heard of it.

But I take it's kind of like a PSP?

If the price is over 150 for a handheld car-ride game thing, then there's no way I'm getting it.

Got pretty exited, when I first heard about the PSV, and when I came to understand that Irrational Games is working on a Bioshock Title for it, I was sold

Really depends on the games. It needs a really good hardcore arcade racer to pull me over the line. Same goes for the Wii U and the 3DS (Nintendo, some F-Zero would be appreciated.)
What, like Wipeout for example :)

I really want one, but it might take me a while to get the funds. But the lineup is already looking good for me, with a new Uncharted, new Resistance, Gravity Rush (how many title changes will that game go through?) looks pretty awesome, and Wipeout 2048 looks really impressive, what with cross-platform play to boost its online which will be helpful in the early days without a full fledged Wipeout Vita community.

I finally upgraded my phone recently, browsed through the Android store and went straight back to my PSP. The importance for a device like Vita has been confirmed in my mind. Some people might be alright with smaller games like Cut the Rope, but when I'm on a train, in a hotel or staying with family, I want full games, and if Vita is offering me Uncharted, then I want it.

Yeah, only faster. All the Whipouts I played were a little to slow and powerup depended for my taste.
There is an option to speed it up, it always starts up easy, but switch to venom mode or higher and it becomes so fast its extremely difficult to master without crashing which is why it is renowned for being one of the fastest racers around besides F-Zero and XG3. You can also turn off power ups, you don't need to have them in races, they just make it more fun for those who don't like simplistic racing.

No. I already have a 3DS, as I prefer the game library far more, and I plan on getting quite a few games with it.

Thx mate. I'll definitely check it out the next time I get to play Whipout again...When I get my hands on a newer console/handheld (Newest I have is a Gamecube X3)

It doesn't fix the soundtrack however. Oh well: *Turn music down of Whipout, puts up some Slayer.
Defo, there's a new version for the PSVita and you can play against people on the PS3, check it out on youtube when and if you have the chance, its a fun, fast and furious game.

Yeah, probably.
The PSP is pretty much my main way of game-consumption at the moment and the Vita seems to be essentially an amped-up version of it. I don´t think I will buy it at launch (there is still a ton of stuff I want to play on the PSP), but at some point I will.

Seeing how Persona 3 Portable sold really well and porting a PS2 game to the Vita should be (in theory) much easier than porting a PS2 game to the PSP,
I think this is a distinct possibility.
But I think I´ll keep sacrificing souls to the Dark One, just to be sure.

Definitely, Vita has what looks to be a very strong lineup. As long as they keep it up, it sounds awesome.

Agreed.

I would like to get it. Uncharted on the go WITH TROPHIES? (I'm a trophy whore.)

If I do get it, I will chock up the extra 50 for 3G. Never had 3G on a gaming device ever. Even though at&t will be spotty and will cut in and out of online games, it still won't detracted from the fun of online gaming anywhere.

i probably will eventually, the 3DS has a mostly garbage library for me for the most part, there are maybe two games for it that i'd play, plus i hate the 3D aspect of it, so vita will probably be what i get

(plus FINALLY dual joysticks, i've been whining about those for years and they finally implement it into games!)

as long as it has a better battery than the 3ds, it will probably be a first month purchase
