Are black people better at hip-hop or are other races better at hip-hop?

Sorry, i realize this topic may potentially be misconstrued as offensive, but I honestly believe black people are worse at hip-hop than anyone else.

List of black hip-hop artists that I like:
1)Wu-Tang Clan
2)Jay-Z

List of non-black hip-hop artists that I like:
1)Linkin Park/Fort Minor
2)Eminem
3)Limp Bizkit
4)Das Racist
5)Hilltop Hoods
6)Flobots
7)Beastie Boys

That's 7:2 and that's not even taking into account that black hip-hop artists severely outnumber other hip-hop artists, in which case it's like size adjusted 86:3 or so.

Is it just my stupid personal opinion or is this actually true?

Also, once again, I apologize if anyone takes offense to this! Personal opinion! Feel free to bash me in your replies!

He's awesome, but if you think his being white has anything at all to do with his awesomeness, I pity you.

Whoever the fuck happens to be good at hip-hop at the time, the colour of their skin doesn't tend to affect things.

Btw, I don't listen to hip hop, lul.

EDIT:

Two things,
Linkin Park aren't hiphop.
Race does not determine the quality of music.
Wow, actually, this guy sums things up perfectly.

Linkin Park are nu-metal, believe me, I've seen them headline twice.

Also, it's the person not the skin that makes the music.

I'd say based on your list, your exposure to hip-hop hasn't been incredibly extensive. I won't say anything of whether white or black rappers tend to produce better hip-hop, what I will say is that I have favorites in all races and genders. I think it's a little stupid to say one race is better or worse at creating a genre of music.

i realize it isnt an inherently racial thing. like i said, not trying to generalize any group of people. just a pattern i noticed, that hip-hop by black artists happens to be lower in quality.

It's pretty clearly your personal opinion. The fact that you'd take your own personal opinion and honestly think it's anything more is just...well gee i'll say it it's stupid.

In my own list, i have just two white hip-hop/rap artists, and about 30 black ones. Does that mean white people produce lower quality music of this type? No.
Also, Limp Bizkit are rock-hop or something halfway there but neither as good as either.

You don't even have The Roots on that list. This thread is just a joke right? It must be if you don't have The Roots on your list. Also, I'd have to add Mos Def and Talib Kweli (I haven't heard much of their solo stuff but Blackstar is awesome).

I don't think there's anything inherent in black people that makes them good at hip-hop, I think it's just that it's come out of that culture so it's mostly black people who are into that culture and therefore start rapping. I'd also have to disagree with most of your good white hip-hop artists, especially Limp Bizkit /shudder.

I can honestly say that the OP's wording is legitimately racist, or at least, it outwardly brings race into the equation. I don't care that a person happens to like some peoples' hip-hop more than another, and there is a notable difference in which races populate that person's likes or dislikes of hip hop. I really don't care, but try to word yourself more carefully next time. I know what you meant, but you should maybe edit the OP a little bit to make it look less?racist.

That being said, I don't like much hip-hop, but:

Crazy, how someone can open up a thread about hip-hop on a gaming site and not be into nerdcore...
I mean, can't we all just relate to this one?

I've heard black guys who are great, I've heard black guys who suck ass. I've heard white guys who are great, I've heard white guys who suck ass. There are alot of each, but my favorite rapper, Tech N9ne, happens to be black.
