Capcom. Unfortunately their fans will defend them to Hell and back and still buy all their regurgitated crap, so whatever.

Valve have been pretty shitty lately as well, at least to their 360 fanbase. If you're going to release your game(s) on another system then support them properly.

EA hands down

- One of the original culprits and still one of the biggest offenders in the "Annual releases with minimal changes" business
- Originators of the Online Pass because apparently they're so special they deserve to be paid again for stuff they've already been paid for
- Have shut down multiple studios over the years and seem intent on running more(such as Bioware)into the ground
-The whole Origin fiasco

Right now, Team Ninja for what they did to Metroid. Extra Credits said it best: "You know who we need to tell Samus' story? The jiggle-physics guys!"
You know what many people, including EC apparently, seemed to miss? The fact that the story for Other M was written by Yoshio Sakamoto one of the creators of the Metroid series.Whatever you may think of Other M's story you can't blame Team Ninja for it

EA closely followed by Capcom...EA because I had to be connected their servers in order for my ME2 DLC to work on my PS3; and Capcom for releasing Ultimate MvC when the content on the disc should really be DLC and not an entire new game.

To all capcom haters.

am tired of this. Are you saying 12 characters should all be dlc? Are you serious? you realize thatd cost over the asking price. The Dlc price for Jill and Shuma were 10. That'd be 60 alone for just the characters not the other crap.

I honestly hope you respond to this because i wanna dispel this capcom is evil. Capcom cares for there fans of fighting games so much. We got SF4 that revitalized the fighting game genre, we were then given updates to further make the game tournament worthy and balanced. Arcade edition was DLC to btw. We were then given Marvel something that was JOKED about at tournaments. We never thought wed see it, now were getting an update with more characters and balancing something we NEEDED.

Let me end this debate with one last story. fighting games online have always been awful since the beginning of time, no game has ever came out that could even substitute offilne practice and play, which lead to the only way to practice for tournaments was to gather everyone in one room. Even to this day theres no retail fighting game with a playable net code to train for tournament play. then there was a man named Tony Cannon a tournament organizer of he biggest fighting game tournament, in his spare time he worked on a net code for emulated games, called GGPO. Since it was basically made out of his dorm no fighting game developers ever asked to use it. Capcom licensed it but never used it. Mind you GGPO is the only on line net code thats actually playable and good.

Now enter SF3 3rd strike the most beloved SF everyone loves this game and are still playing it since 1999.

Capcom then releases 3rd strike with GGPO on Xbla and PSN. #rd strike is only loved by the hardcores and most casuals don't notice awful on line. This was truly a gift to the hardcores. Capcom really does care it was never in question.

So i guess, Capcom cares about th hardcores what comes to fighting games, don't really care to muh about the casuals. I'd say thats awesome wouldn't you? there catering to there true fans.

Stop hating on them. I guess if your a casual you can.

So, I assume that "Activation" is some stupid typo of "Activision," although I can't understand how that mistake can be made...

Anyway, I vote for Activision Blizzard because they bought out Blizzard and because they have them in their corporate chokehold, and totally fucked everything up (i.e. Blizzard's content quality has seriously gone down the drain since the merger). Moreover, Bobby Kotick, the shitty the CEO, president, and a director of Activision Blizzard is simply a waste of flesh that is a plague for the industry. He was quoted with saying he is comfortable with upping the prices of his games simply because he can, despite the bad economy, as well as outright refusing to produce new, unproven intellectual properties, instead preferring to "focus on franchises that have the potential to be exploited every year on every platform with clear sequel potential and have the potential to become $100 million franchises."

Simply a shitty company with a shitty agenda of shit... yep...

EA for me, all this stuff with Origin is just really making me hate them.
I still haven't forgiven EA for what they did to the OLD Origin (the one who created worlds). Had seen some positive moves from them, but not enough to make up for all the crap they've done and apparently will continue (new Origin, blecchh) to do.

Always hated EA. Randown and bought out many games (possibly) and industrys i liked, ruind and raped them. Just to play one of the unique games (cause most of it is sports crap. Just go outside for *insert diety here* sake) online. Then if its not like they they are getting enough money, they have this origin to look at anything on our computers. Like apple they will DIFFENTLY put their hands in the cookie jar. Pun intended. But finally theres the trolls to infinity ward about MW3. They just make it sound like they are having fan issues, just in hopes of reclaiming their fans for reasons stated above. Srry for making this a rant, my experiances with ea were always filled with hate in varying degrees.

I really want to say Capcom for cancelling anything with the name Mega Man in the title, but that's just my own personal axe to grind. I'm going with EA, never been much of a PC guy, and this Origin debacle is making glad I'm not.

Osidian, for making new vegas

it was linear, laggy and boring, unlike fallout 3 and im glad i only borrowed it not wasted my money
what game were you playing? Fallout 3 was more linear. No offence, but you sound like one of those guys who played through 5 minutes, and because it wasn't a continuation of Fo3 you immediately wrote it off as a "cash in".

Don't get me wrong, I love fallout 3, but I do love New Vegas more and I don't think it deserves all the hate it gets. The Inconsistent stability though is a fair call, but that can be attributed to Bethesda rushing it out the door to compete with fable 3, and some reported that New Vegas wasn't that bad (myself included, but sometimes...)

Also, unlike other game companies obsidian actually try. They may not seem like they are, but at least they tried some new (and old but lost over time) things.

Sorry for the all over the place rant/Imnotsurewhatthisis. Should start promising to myself that I won't break into New Vegas defence every 5 minutes...
Its ok, maybe im not looking far enough into new vegas, im in novea novum? the second N town where theres a doc there and boone etc... anyway so far i have been told go to 1 city then the next then the next then the next, all in pretty strait lines, i have found 2 side quests which didnt exactly take me far from the beaten track, ok i know im only like 4 hours of so into new vegas but by that time in fallout 3 i had nuked megaton, done most of moira browns quest, found out where my dad was going, found loads of new locations i didnt have to go to, hadnt been warned to to go off a path incase i get eaten by rad scorps or death claws, i just found them(and to deathclaws consiquently died to them in old ohney) and was headed to republic of dave before going to the GNR building for next main quest.

from the ammount of the map i have so far traversed it looks like im about half way through walking around all the map, it looks and feels tiny compared to FO3 or say Oblivion or Morrowind which all seemed atleast 10 times the size of the new vegas map, andnone of them had a very clear path going from where you start to where you finish (im assuming most the story takes place in new vegas itself and i saw the road the first time i opened my map i knew how i would end up getting there.

so ye other people may have liked the game and thats fine, but thats why i disliked new vegas and just wish it wasnt there, i will play it to completion, unless it really gets on my nerves, but only because im not a quitter, but i wouldnt replay it or buy it.
The road to new Vegas is that. A road. Its a journey. when you find Vegas itself, that's when the game really starts (think of it like Half life 1 with that long arse playable introduction sequence). The Lead up thing with benny was only a primary motivator, but after that goose gets chased and you find yourelf in a 3 way battle you realise how much choice and free flow there is.

Sizewise I can't really comment as I have only played fallout 3 as well in terms of Beth games, but the reason why it feels like that is to get to novac from Goodsprings you've gone in a small loop around from the south. But Its probably smaller, time constraints I guess.

Prior to a few days ago I probably would have said Ubisoft. After Origins, it's EA hands down and it won't be changing unless Ubisoft begins demanding I keep one of their staff at home every time I want to play one of their games.

[small]and now that I've said it, it will happen[/small]

Let's see....

* EA with their "fuck you" policy towards PC gamers right now.

* Activision being, well, Activision. (plus Kotick)

* Blizzard using their popularity with their fans to push harsher and harsher DRM measures and milking them as much as Activision does it's costumers.

* Gamestop acting a fool and deceiving it's costumers. (opening new games, removing items, and resealing to sell again as "new". among other grievances.)

* Ubisoft's ridiculous "Always On" DRM schemes that just...keep...backfiring.

* Capcom rushing out unfinishes, rehashed, half-assed products and then charging for "addons" and "updates" that are actually just "fixed" versions of the broken games.

* Epic Games and Cliffy B being such epic twats. Seriously. (bah-doom-tish!)

Hmmm...

I have a better question. Who isn't being "the biggest douche in gaming" right now?

Hmmm.

EA's project origin forced spyware, project 10 dollar, and previous bullshit, like the limited installs DRM...
Ubisoft for their always online DRM for single player, and then the servers went down...
Sony, for the while PSN scandal, and initially trying to hide rom peoplem, that their info had been stolen...
Activision for IWnet for MW2, and more or less every word comming out of Robert Kotick's mouth...
Gamestop for their recent removal of content, from the boxed versions of Deus-Ex...

I think i'll go with Publishers in general.

As for specific persons, Kotick takes the grand price, for not only beeing a first class douche-bag, but openly seeming to be proud of it.

GameStop.

Selling used games for $5 less than a brand new copy, and they only paid 15-20 store credit for it. That's just absurd.

Activision really doesn't deserve all the hate... they upped the prices on the PC version's of their games and DLC because they knew people would buy it anyway. That sounds bad, but it's nowhere near as bad as the shit EA and Blizzard are pulling. EA blocking Porsches from Forza 4 to attract more customers to NFS (LOLOLOLOL) and Blizzard allowing people to buy power... that's only some examples.

EA. Thanks to EA, Command and Conquer will never have a proper ending.

Want to know how Westwood was going to end the series? The rumor is Yuri would have done something to travel back in time and merge the Tiberian and Red Alert timelines. Further details are unknown, but it's speculated the climax would've been a showdown between Yuri and Kane. Yuri and Kane would destroy each other, leaving behind their respective research in psychic abilities and tiberium. Humans would combine the two and evolve to unthinkable heights. To top everything off, it's speculated there would've been a bonus campaign featuring Earth invading and destroying the Scrin homeworld.
