I've gotten so sick of the "Introduce the game where the cliffhanger from the last one is barely even mentioned", then stuff happens, then we end with another cliffhanger. I've played through all four console Assassin Creed's and I swear every one of them follows that same exact arc (well, the first one might not since there was no cliffhanger to begin with that they could barely mention).
I'll probably get it eventually since I do enjoy the game-play but the AC series went from Day-1 purchase to On-Sale-for-$30 purchase due to the fucking story.

I'm getting the Freedom Edition, kind of a stupid name for it, but the goodies for it seem worth it. Plus I'm gonna play it the minute I get home until I can't hang since I have work in the morning.

Yeah I'll be definitely picking it up. Wasn't too fond of the last one but meh, not like I have anything else to play right now.
Just got back from the midnight launch and popping it in. AC 2 rocked my face of when it came out so I know 3's gonna be awesome.
Definately getting it. Wanted to get it on release day, but my money is kind of tight right now. ASAP is when I am hoping to buy it.

Yes, Yes oh god yes, I've loved all the AC games (Even Brotherhood and Revelations), we're having a midnight release here but I can't go to it so I'm picking it up in the morning.

Eventually. I haven't played revelations yet though, so it's unlikely I'll be getting AC III at any point in the immediate future.
