Growing up, I've grownup watching cartoonified animals and rodents, we all have regardless of our age. But I've always found myself wondering: whose the better cartoon rodent? Now just to clarify, this is not sometype of gladiator tournament but a popularity/preference contest. With that said, our nominees:
Mickey Mouse- one of the most memorable and oldest cartoon characters of all time, who has stood up to the test of time fairly well. Sure, people say that Disney may be evil but we still love Mickey, he's practically the poster child of cartoons
Bugs Bunny- my personal favorite, Bugs Bunny. Bugs is arguably one of the funniest cartoon characters of all time, and we've all, at one time or another, has said,"eeeeehhhh, what's up doc?". Bugs made Warner Bros. memorable and placed them on the map. We love his classics, get used to his new incarnations, but love him all the same. After all, who else will taunt Elmer Fudd,"a-hu-hu-hu-hu,"
Pikachu- this list couldn't be complete without the Pokémon franchise's flagship character, Pikachu. Pikachu has been around for nearly 10 or more years now, and will probably never disappear. He's on the most wanted list of every Pokémon player and has captured our hearts with the plush toys, the tv show, and painful thunderbolts
Jerry (50's-90's)- and lost but not least, Jerry. The underdog everyone loves, the mouse that defies the food chain and smacks, shoots, and shocks the snot out of Tom every time he tries to eat him or his friends. Sure, the new movies kinda suck, but we don't notice them, they don't exist, IT NEVER HAPPEND(except maybe for the one where they both talked), but we still love his early work, I'm a fan of Tom and Jerry of the 1980's.
Pinky & the Brain- they work awesome together like PB&J, and you can't have that without the two of them. In the early 00's they dominated Saturday morning cartoons alongside the Animaniacs(hellooooooo, nurse!). Even if the Brain never achieved world domination, the contrast between the Brain's cold genius and Pinky's foolish and unfocused acts made us laugh for years, and cried when it ended.(narf!)
Max- Sam&Max's Max to be precise. The Sam&Max franchise had a brief cartoon run with Sam&Max: Freelance Police. Max carrying over his same violent and insane persona from the game into the cartoon, only a "little" lighter for the kids, Max deserves an honorable mention and a spot on this list. Max still continued with the same insane cases from joining and scarring the mind of a hyper intelligent being coming to destroy earth, battling mutated tv dinners, and even having a giant robot built in his likeness to fight giant monsters&asteroids.
Now: vote whose top dog, post why, and even back up your choice with pictures or video!
Just to clarify once more, this isn't some weird type of cartoon Mortal Kombat, just personal opinion, though if it were my money's one Bugs.
