Pinky and the Brain all the way, best thing (possibly the only good thing) to come out of animaniacs. Shame warner hated it so much they turned the last series into a Clusterfuck by adding Elmyra but props to whichever angry writer included the line 'Its what the network wants, why bother to complain?' line.

I never regularly watched any of their shows on TV, but I had some Tom & Jerry VHS' that I loved so I choose Jerry.

Max Max all the way. He at least managed to become President of the US. Brain never got that far.

I believe in one episode brain did become ruler of the earth but couldn't face it without pinky and so challenged the devil for the return of pinky.
You don't get that kind of heart as a contrast to the norm from any other cartoon character, rodent or not.

I'm doing my best to restrain myself from making another "lemon" joke.

OT: Mickey Mouse is the most recognizable mouse compared to the other choices; but that's if you're talking about popularity. In terms of who has the best humor, I'd pick Pinky and the Brain.
In terms of cuteness, I'd pick Pikachu.

Haha, as soon as I saw the cake I was about to say "the cakes is a lie" but you beat me to it.

I would have to go with either Pikachu with Pinky and the Brain as my second choice. I like both but ultimately, Pikachu withstood the test of time while the Pinky and the Brain didn't.
