Carlos Mencia is probably the worst comedic act I've ever seen.

The ones that I've enjoyed the most are Robin Williams and Russel Peters

Demetri Martin.

And trust me, this isn't a troll post. He came to our college to do a live stand-up show, so a bunch of friends and I decided to go. In short, it was basically one hour of him standing in front of a whiteboard and making lame one-sentence jokes about the stuff he drew on it. It was extremely disappointing.

To be fair, he was kinda funny, but not really funny enough to be considered a fully-fledged comedian.

easily the worst comedian i've ever seen was Jack Dee. he's jus not funny. he's sounds like a bitter old man having a moan, and he's just not funny at it, unlike someone like Franky Boyle

I think they all have moments where they are extremely funny and moment where they are extremely long winded.

Dane Cook is one I feel needs to improve his act. I mean he is funny at times, but some of his jokes are too long winded.

He is a good comedian, but he could be a lot better.

You mean Jeff Dunham? I think that guy is the funniest.

The funniest comedian ever is Mitch Hedberg. Sadly he passed away.

A couple spring to mind. Glenn Beck, Carlos Mencia...oh, and Jeff Dunham. Dear God, Jeff Dunham.

The combined unfunniness (yes, it is a word) of those three people is staggering.

I am assuming all of the ones on the poll are American? We are not all American you know, this kind of discussion should probably not have a poll considering there are hundreds of potential candidates.

I would have to say Ross Noble is the worst I have seen, I just didn't find his acts funny.

That guy who totally rips off Bill Hick's material and image. I cant remember his name, but watching him massacre Hick's jokes and ideas is painful to me...

Ha ha. Oh, Dmitri reminds me of Mr. Deadpan himself: Steven Wright. That guy can make a room full of people break out into raucous laughter while maintaining a straight face. Gotta Love it.

From Dmitri: "If you're hanging out in the woods wearing camos, no one can see you. If you're hanging out in the city wearing camos, everyone can see what an asshole you are."

I don't really know many of them, I'm from England. Sooo... other.

The other being a fella called Roy Chubby Brown, it's not just cause he's not funny it's cause the subjects he decides to make jokes about are so close to English skinhead stereotypes that they are considered too racist/sexist for broadcast. (which is good as the day he gets on Live at the Apollo or Mock the Week is the day I consider leaving the UK)
