First of all: favorite band ever? Favorite band ever.

George is far and away my favorite Beatle. He was the most talented guitarist, and most of my favorite songs are his.

Album-wise... Revolver. I know people say that Revolver and Rubber Soul are pretty much a two-disc set, like the White Album, but... Revolver > Rubber Soul. Then again, this may be nostalgia talking, because I used to fall asleep to Revolver.

John because his solo work was the best and most ambitious. John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band was the same caliber as an actual Beatles album.

John - he was, in my opinion, the best songwriter of the bunch. Across the Universe, Nowhere Man, I Am the Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever, Come Together, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Norwegian Wood, In My Life.... what this man has contributed to the world of music is unparalleled, and I sincerely hope that, for as long as people listen to music, he and the rest of the Beatles continue to receive the praise they so rightfully deserve.

I suppose George 'while my guitar gently weeps' is pretty awesome.
Wait, who wrote Elenor Rigby?
Paul. And the Rolling Stones are better than the Beatles? What is this I don't even...... *grumble grumble grumble*

Edit: My favourite song would be one of the ones I listed above - if I had to pick, it'd be Across the Universe. I have yet to hear anything as sublime. I can't pick a favourite album - on some days it'd be Abbey Road, on others it'd be Rubber Soul, and maybe every once in a while it'd be Sgt. Pepper. They're all fantastic.

Yeah Paul McCartney for me. He was the best musician of the group and I really love listening to the bass lines he comes up with. But regardless of my favourite being Paul, all of them are brilliant. I love what all of them brought to the table individually. The Beatles are like a square, you can't have a perfect square without four perfect right angles shaping it.

Man I love the Beatles.

Ringo is the soundtrack of my childhood, but now that I look back at it... those trains are damn scary.
