Poll: Who likes Anita Sarkeesian?

Here's the thing, so many complain about her yet insist on watching and therefor supporting it.
Yes you can use things to avoid that but it still gets her views and still gets her videos around more.

The BEST THING you can do is just not watch her stuff if you don't like her, get others to do so and there you go. But instead, we get watch video, make forum topic, interest others in viewing and more people chat about her.

Do I like her? No she's outright lied about how games are played, lies about what the player's objective is and skews info to make many titles look bad. How do I know this yet the above statement? Look up Thunderf00t on youtube, he's not even really into gaming (well not on his channel anyway) and was able to call her out on bullshit and show it.

Is there a problem with girls in gaming, well, not getting into that kettle of fish but she's not helping that's for sure.

I don't like her at all. She's an opportunistic charlatan, insincere, uninformed riding the coattails of gamer culture and playing it like a fiddle for all it's worth. Nothing she says is up for debate as she squashes any possibility of constructive counterpoint in her comment sections (since I've last seen). I highly doubt she even believes a word she preaches and I can smell her bullshit from miles away.

Anita is a liar, plain and simple. She makes things up in her videos to help prove her points(like in that ridiculous Hitman implies that killing men is fine but if the player kills a women it's sexist) and despite her claims of otherwise she actually has no interest in the gaming medium.
And to top all of that off she conned people out of money to make a 3 episode Youtube series that took her over a year to finish, and most of the footage of games was stolen meaning she probably hasn't even played them(this relates back to my point of her making up the idea she likes games).

Now that is a lie. She never makes that claim. Y'know, calling her a liar and then immediately telling a lie about her doesn't exactly make you look rational.

I avoid her. Even though I disagree with her on many things she has nothing to say which interests me, bothers me or even provokes any sort of thinking.
I really don't think her methods are totally honest, or her research sufficient, from what little I've seen, but the money she took for her series, was given to her by consenting backers who (unlike me) had an interest in what she proposed to do. That some people are so horribly threatened by her, to the extent they threaten her is pathetic, and simply furthers the perceptions she outlines.
So in short, I don't care about her as such, it's the backlash which makes my eyes roll. I do feel like every possible argument made in her favor and against her has been made by now.

It's truly amazing, how much Anita Sarkeesian supposedly manages to imply.

I said I wrote the comment without thinking, which I did. I wish you'd actually respond respectfully rather than just strawman-ing me. I don't like Anita, she doesn't care/know about video games and yet she preaches to us as if she does.
She attempts to lie to the viewer by saying Hitman encourages violence against women because one of the ways of distracting the police is killing a woman, not telling the viewers that your score it penalized for killing her(AKA the game encourages against it), and ignoring that plenty of equally innocent men have also been murdered in the game.
But okay maybe I should take it back, maybe Anita isn't, "Lying", maybe she just doesn't know what she's talking about and is knowingly spreading mis-information. Whether or not that's better or worse is up to the reader.

Best not to agree with the dude with a Hitler avatar, it's possible that he may be highlighting the plight of those with a mono-testicular condition, but it's much more likely that he's a fascist.

I agree with both of the quotes above tho, I've never heard of the woman in question, yet this forum seems to be resplendent with her name. Is self publicity a means or an end? Either way she seems pretty capable.
