Probably Sony, I mean, people still play and have so much fun with PS2's. That's got to mean something right there. Not to mention the fact that the PS3 is actually a better system than the 360. Don't get me wrong, I love my 360, but the PS3 just has better everything. If only the PS3 had the actual Mass Effect and not some stupid comic, I would just forget about my 360.

As much as current gen goes I'd say Microsoft. But Sony owned the previous 2 generations. Going to go Microsoft. Sony could have had it if they'd just made the PS3 backwards compatible with PS2.

So much ahead of their time.

I'd say Nintendo, but I've been rapdily losing faith in their ability to create consoles anymore. Great games, consoles not s'much.

One point for Sony.

I say sony.

They made a console (ps2) that has a very wide variety of titles, that are FUN.

I'd have to say the Sony, just because of the PS2. It had everything for everyone.

They'd be winning all out but the PS3 lacked backwards compatibility.

Nintendo had the best record for "Best systems" until the wii, thats still a nice system and all but loses out to the other two for being more of a novelty than anything else.

Wii aside, nintendo has my vote. I grew up favoring the gamecube over other systems and the N64 before that, and the super nintendo before that.

Nintendo's been in the business longest and they consistently make money on their systems. So logically it's them.

It's a toss up between Sony and Nintendo for me.

Sony made a really awesome console in the playstation but Nintendo have done a lot to keep gaming going over the years.

I think microsoft are too 'new to the party' (console wise) although I do like the xbox.

Oh, Sony, by a mile. I love my PS3, especially as it's one of the old fats that plays PS2 games. And the PS2 is arguably the greatest console of all time, so I have 2-in-1 awesome.

Nintendo. As stated before, Nintendo makes their consoles damn well. They have a VERY little rate of failure and they build them like a brick.

I'm going with Sony because I'm taking the original Playstation the PS2 and the PS3 into account. All three of those consoles have been the most advanced of their generation the PS2 the best example so far. The Xbox 360 is arguably better than the PS3 just as the PS3 is arguably better than the Xbox 360 but the original Xbox doesn't even compare to the PS2.

Wow. Can't believe Nintendo's winning, and on here, no less?

Poll is broken, as is the question without qualifiers. For overall quality of content, PS2 can't be beat, but the 'cube and the X Box Uno were none-two-distant runners up. And the NES really did begin the first relevant era.

Nintendo by far. Their consoles were generally all I would buy until the sixth generation. The GameCube just didn't match up with the Xbox or PS2 for me so I got an Xbox(mainly for the hard drive, Halo). As for the Wii, it just feels like a step backward in everything except the motion controls
