Sean Connery, gentlemen, is simply the greatest Bond to have ever lived.

Roger Moore. He was the one in the Man with the Golden Gun right? I hated Timothy Dalton. Roger Moore was really cheesy and kinda made fun of himself and I thought it was awesome. But really it depends on the writing and directing. Daniel Craig comes off as a whiny prick but that's because that's what his lines are so I really can't blame him.
It's always been between Sean Connery and Peirce Bronson for me though it's a shame Timothy Dalton didn't do more movies.
I think Daniel Craig is quite good as the new Bond, I liked both of the new films (they weren't the best, sure) and look forward to the others.
However, all must submit to the almighty Sean Connery. He was the first movie Bond and probably had some of the best films to act in.
I'd rank them in order:

2.Craig
3.Brosnan
4.Dalton
5.Moore
6.Lazenby (I hate that film)

No matter how suave Brosnan and Craig may be, they will never match the lighthearted charm that Connery brought to the character. It's that loveable-ness that gave Bond a place in our hearts, and everything else was just icing on the cake.
I'd call Connery the best, with Brosnan and Craig tied for second. I could care less about the other three.
