HAHA! oh yes! i have quite a large group of friends who join in on it with me, mainly do it on people who give us the evil eye or are just plain dicks!

Waitaminute. You go to rock/metalclubs and find it surprising that people give you the evil eye?

I mean for fuck sake, we're talking about a clientel where at least ten people probably listen to bands who decorate their stages with pig cadavers and throw pints of bovine blood on the audience while playing. Getting the evil eye from one or two people in that kind of a crowd wouldn't be completely unexpected, wouldn't you agree?

Also, if you mosh-trap people for being dicks, I hope you guys still abide by the moshing code that states that if anyone trips or falls down during a mosh-pit you immediately help them to their feet. Otherwise you're being dicks yourselves, and there's quite enough of dicks in the world as it is, no?

Naw, no use giving the bouncers a hard time. I mean sometimes it's warranted taking the piss out of them if they're abusing their authority (which that kind of profession sadly attract, since the people who become bouncers and security guards are basically the people who failed at the police academy). But some bouncers actually take their job seriously and they can be quite friendly and service-minded if you're being a bit sympathetic and don't give them a hard time.

After all, having to spend an entire night making sure that some drunk idiots (i.e pretty much everyone at the pub or club in question) don't hurt themselves or others or destroy property can't be the most fun job in the world. In general it's pretty dull to have to look after drunk people while being stone sober yourself.

As for the bouncers around here, it varies. Some are awesome, others are authorative pricks who genuinely don't believe that service-mindedness is actually a part of their fucking job description.

Luckily I tend not to attract their attention, but I've seen them pull their bullshit on other innocent guests from time to time. Those kinds of bouncers deserve all the shit coming to them in my opinion.

It's a 10 year old song, that is metal enough to be edgy but censored enough to get radio play, and you're wondering why it's overplayed? Did you not know this song exists for the last decade? It's old news, it's not some prophetic wisdom that it's been played a couple too many times. I think this is one of the songs though that biker gangs heavily listen to, fun fact. Pretty much any song like this, some Disturbed and stuff too. It's not the reason it's overplayed, it's just something I heard about.

But, so are all 5/6 songs used in montage videos on youtube. Very few people seem creative enough to find a different song to use to go with their AMV, WoW pvp videos etc.

Its because its overused. It was catchy but now that every frag video has this bloody song its just annoying. Not bad, just annoying.

Its not metal by the way, its basically hard rock/nu metal. Just my opinion but whatever. When it comes to frag/skill videos id rather it be set to a classical composition of some sort. Hearing emo "No one will sleep with me" music just annoys me when im trying to get pointers for my game.

It's Nu Metal. And Nu Metal is just as a legitimate metal sub-genre as any other sub-genre. If Nu Metal "doesn't count", then you might as well say that Death Metal and Black Metal aren't metal either, since they came around after the initial Heavy Metal bands.

I heard that the reason it got overplayed was that it was the only metal track you could put on your youtube video for free if you had the previous soundtrack removed because of a copyright claim.

Other than that... I don't mind it. I think it's not a bad montage soundtrack.
