Poll: Who wants to live forever?

Now does this mean I never age, or does it mean that even if I get shot in the head with a gun I would live?

What meaning does life have if you just live so long eveyone you ever knew dies and your stuck in the ever carpier world?

I voted "yes - eternal life would be awesome", but it would have to come with a clause that if humanity became extinct or whatever that my life would end. Existing in the 'nothingness' after the end of the world in billions of years would be absolutely terrible and unbearable.

Everything up to that would be awesome. I mainly would want to live 'longer' to see humanity's progression and development, the technologies of the future, progression into space travel, and other things i probably cant even imagine, and its a bit disappointing that i wouldnt ever get to see or experience these things - so yes eternal (or perhaps more specifically.. 'incredibly long, but eventually ending') life would be an amazing thing to have.

I voted no, eternal life would be too painful. Realistically I wouldn't want to live forever because i know eventually i'd get sick of losing friends and family to old age and become world weary and drink myself under the table from depression.......well thats what i assume what will happen to me =P

I would only want to live forever if a small group of my friends family could too. Only because I want to see what happens to the world. By that I mean technological advancement, how people interpret our history in 1000 years etc.
If my boyfriend wasn't immortal I definitely wouldn't want to be though. Growing old doesn't scare me, looks like it will be fun
