Did they talk about having kids together? Was she expecting him to propose? Did he have the new Xbox? There is a lot of variables here that makes this hard to answer. Speaking out from experince of being a week broken up with a girl who broke my heart, in the long run the girl will hurt more, in the short run the guy will hurt more.

Touche, though as I said; A broken Xbox is a broken Xbox. A broken heart can result anywhere from "One day of not speaking" to he's dead.

If the guy's situation is the latter, i'm sure the girl might be wailing.
