Poll: who would like to see a Shadow of the Colossus remake?

I really need to play Ico and SotC, but I don't own a Sony system, and I haven't been able to find either regardless. Still, now that the price has dropped on the PS2, maybe I'll get one and scour the earth for a copy of either/both.

Still, I don't think a remake is a good idea. They can be good under some conditions (Black Mesa: Source comes to mind) but it's rare that they're well done. Besides, if Team ICO are really so genius, they'll best serve by using that genius to make a new game.

Why does this this game need a remake? It still looks gorgeous if a little grainy on some textures and it certainly doesn't need to be tweaked. The "A Break in Immersion" article already showed that producing it one a system with achievements wouldn't work. This is terrible idea.

Haven't played ICO, but I HAVE played SotC. The game was pretty enough. Having it run at 6-fps is probably icing on an already sweet cake (that isn't a lie).

Sequel? Yes. (And yes, I am aware that ICO is a bit of a sequel. Whatever.)

Remake? No. Do we REALLY need a remake of a game that's not even ten years old?

I have to say I can't wait for Team Ico's next game, but yeah, a re-released, high-def set of both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus would be immense.

I don't want to see SotC remade, because I think it's perfect as it is and shouldn't be changed in the slightest. I do, however, think it should be ported to at least one console in every successive generation. Forever. That way, everyone will at least have a chance to play this phenomenal game.

It would be interesting to see but only if they attempted to implement the original co-op gameplay that was initially proposed in the earliest stages of the games development. Co-op Colossi ass-kicking over PSN or XBL would be incredible.

IP is a brand new title, not a remake or a sequel. (strangely enough i don't actually know what it stands for, just what it means)

also means they take the easy route and remake a game other than come up with a new idea =/
