Well, I believe that USA'd be better off without another white-haired conservative warhungering republican. Go Obama!

why is there no option for ralph nader?
Perhaps because the common stereotype is that Ralph Nader has no chance of winning. It's unfortunate, I know, but it just seems like this race is between Obama and McCain now.

As for me, I'm a Obama supporter and I've been one for a while.

obama of course mcain is old and probably doesnt even know where he is right now
Yet if I said "mccain of course obama is black and probably doesnt even know where he is right now" I wonder how quickly I'd get flamed. (Not that my one makes any sense, but you get my drift)
lol your a racist, anyway mcain once said that the fundamentals of our economy where strong or somthing like that, and then 3 hours later said that our economy was in trouble, contradictory much
Well if unemployment raged up to 40% then our fundamental ( essential part of) the American economy wouldn't be bad. Our economy has been rough for the two years, anyone who doesn't realize that should be shot. (not kill but just shot)

I would like to see a smart president like America's founding fathers in the White House. I wonder why the whole of Europe supports Obama, almost entirely (no-one I know here in Britain has much good to say about any Republican) yet this isn't the same in America. What is it about America? And yes, obviously they/you all are more right-wing in general.

A vote for anarchy! Hang on what?
No I retract my vote.
In the absence of the 'none of the above' option I'd go for Obama, reason being that he's black.

It should be nicely socially significant to see a black man in the White House, all politicians are going to fuck it up in some way or another so it may as well be the one who might make people think differently.

I voted neither but I'm voting for McCain this election. He's the closest thing to conservative that we'll get. That's not a good thing for most people here, but please humble me.

Say what? You would pick Obama purely because he is black? Isn't that... you know... racist?
but positive racism, but it means you're kicking the white man a bit.
Ah well

From what I've been reading and seeing on the news, I would much rather prefer someone who isn't mad "I'm going to bomb every country which isn't America hoo-rah" McCain...

The world would seem a slightly safer place, and less on the brink of a world war. If the places we attack weren't so weak and poor compared to us. On that note *looks at china* look at their economy. Pow, beats us! They were set back a bit after the fall of communism, having to pick up a new system has to be difficult, but we have been pwnd on the whole corporate front there.

Politics makes me a little worried about the world. Why the hell is Gordon Brown in charge by the way? And why isn't there anyone I'd want to vote for in charge.
To quote Douglas Adams;
Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job

While Im aware that this isnt going to change any ones view or thought im just going to put this out.

The facts that McCain supported Bush 90ish % of the time isnt the bad thing in and off its self. Its that fact that the things McCain voted were obviously detrimental to the country.

And is reality doesnt McCain vote first? In terms of laws congress votes first and then the president decides with to veto or not?

Now dont get me wrong Im voteing for Obama, regretably (Im a moderate)

Arnold Schwarzenegger for president!

Nah really I'd like to see Obama be president. I don't know a great deal about either candidates policies but he's a much better speaker than McCain, and I think the way in which a man expresses himself speaks volumes about his character.

Also McCain is old and if he dies in office I would hate to see the state of America after 6 months with Sarah Palin in charge. *shudders*
Why there should be a mandatory class for voters so that a president isn't elected based on age or their ability to speak, but what they are about to do to our country.

Not McCain. Palin scares me, what with the legal issues in office and evangelical-ness. The evangelical-ness just scares me because I'm an atheist and I always get the aura from evangelicals that they're on a crusade against everyone who doesn't agree with them. Whatever no control here.
