And if so how would you like him to be updated.
If not why not?

I am, because it means the consoles are one step closer to getting updated in some way.

Maybe.

Most definately not.

I would like him to have a roving sentry gun, because it would be coolsome.

Preferably one with a light machine gun, and talks.

With Stephen Fry as it's voice actor.

Well, i can play all classes relatively well, but i still like engineering. I hope this'll bring some mobility to Engineer: quick-build wrench, portable dispensers, that sort of thing.

I'm kinda excited. I don't play the Engineer much, but I sometimes get fucked by their sentrys as I'm a Scout so I'm running around a lot, and if one of them catches me in mid-air, I'm shafted. Hopefully this'll make the Engineer less campy, which should make the game more fun for me, I might even play as an Engineer if the updates are good.

It won't be happening, Valve would but Microsoft would force them to pay, so Valve would have to force you to pay to get it, meaning only some people would have access to the weapons, making the game unbalanced.

It's only free on the PC because of the Steam Servers.

I don't get why they don't just make it something like this: If you have the DLC you get an option to play with other people with it (Allowing you to use the DLC), if you don't, you just play Vanilla TF2 (Which is better in my opinion).

I've been waiting for this for a long time. The PDQ was leaked over a year ago, I think. I've been anticipating it's addition to the game ever since. It's the perfect weapon for my Engineer play style. No longer will my plans be ruined due to the 5 seconds it takes to a build a sentry. Dumb Scouts.

Though if the PDQ, or a similar item, is not in this update, I will never stop raging about it. I also hope they make something similar to my telespringer idea, since I have already thought of several great uses for that.

The TF2 group (Blatant Plug) [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/The-Escapist-Team-Fortress-2-Group-PC]

Have already come up with these achievements

Yellow Rose of Texas: Repair a sentry while under the effects of Jarate.
Death Valley: Cause 1 million points of sentry damage
Time for a Hoedown: Provide an enemy with a screenshot of you dancing over their corpse.
Conundrums of Philosophy: Recieve an Ubercharge from a Medic while repairing a Sentry which is under attack.
I solve Practical Problems: Kill five demomen or soldiers with your Shotgun, Pistol, or Wrench in a single life.
Structually Superfluous Be-hind: Kill 5 Spies with your Sentry after removing the Sapper from the same Sentry.
Use More Gun: Use your Sentry to assist/kill five enemies with another Engineer's Sentry.
Not Pointed at You: Dominate 10 Enemies using only your Sentry.
Stop - Hammer Time: Remove 1000 Sappers with the Texas Hammer
The Engines Cannae Take It: Rebuild 5 destroyed buildings in a single life
Beam Me Up Scotty: Teleport 3 Demomen in a single life
Planning Permission: Destroy 3 enemy buildings using only your sentry.

I got it on PC so Yay for me. Most of the time the update just adds a new way to play it dosn't unbalence anything weapons in the updates have pros and cons like the second shotgun for the scout, it does more damage than the other one but it only has two rounds meaning you have to reload often.

Valve have said once all the content is done they'll release it on 360, as then it can be a onetime DLC purchase, not lots of little patches like we get on PC.

Its not just the weapons you get though, its the achievements, maps, matchtypes, bug fixes, balancing, etc that go with it.

I actually heard a rumour Valve will be announcing a standalone version of TF2, containing every update, for the consoles at the next E3. It's only a rumour though.

Judging how it is literally the most efficient method to get every update in the consoles, I actually think this rumour holds a little truth.

Bastards still could've released a map pack though.

You know what would be cooler? If Stephen Colbert voiced him. Or the guy who voiced Liberty Prime in Fallout 3.

Pies.

I play TF2 once in a while, but I've never really gotten sucked in to being interested in this too much.

I haven't played TF2 since the Sniper/Spy update so I can't say it will affect me too much. Hell, I don't even know what the Soldier got in his update and only know two of the Demo-mans.

Which means it's going to be an awesome time to be a Demoman or Soldier.
