Alas, while I do love Skyrim and still mod/play it now, I don't buy DLC so no I won't be getting it.
It will be more than a DLC. It will be a proper expansion.
Compared to Shimmering Isles though...from what I've ready this sounds...disappointing.

Oh boy another "choose your side player character!" questline? I can't wait!

And I swear to god if they take control away from me and make me watch more than 3 horrible ass in-game "cutscenes" I will huck my monitor out the window.*

*I will not actually do it.

It's ironic because I usually always play evil in games, but I just cant stand the idea of being a vampire. I just don't want to be an evil undead bloodsucking zombie, ugh. I never side with vampires in games ever.

Im going to make a new character for dawnguard, the problem with my old one is he's king of everything and its just gotten too ridiculous.
Single greatest problem with Elder Scrolls games - at some point, you turn into a god.

*cough*Shivering Isles*cough*
That's the fun part! Which is why I sometimes get annoyed at how they still try to balance some parts of it too hard. The Deadric Artifacts, being a vampire (before dawnguard), and werewolves all got nerfed in the name of balance. Let there be some powerful items that break balance, that's part of the fun of exploring and collecting these things in the first place! Fortunately mods can fix this (presuming they don't break your game).

I'll most likely wait until it goes on a steam sale.
Don't get me wrong, I frikkin love Skyrim but with the obvious exception of the Shivering Isles, DLCs from Bethesda have been fairly uninteresting in the past.

I think it's because the DLCs are pretty much based on a main quest for that DLC. And Bethesda SUCK at main quests. The only reason Shivering Isles was so good was because it had such an interesting and varied setting with plenty of side quests, because tbh even it's main quest didn't make much sense.

Not on release. I think I'll wait for a bundle edition with all the DLC, that will probably be released in a few years. Should be around the time when I feel like playing Skyrim again.

I'd say eventually but for the time being, I'm not particularly interested in getting it.

This post needs better English and a I am not sure yet option.

Myself and no doubt others will wait and make an informed decision about whether to get it or not, depending on the price, reviews and any other info available. Speaking of prices doea anyone know how much it will cost??

I am looking forward to this. But it feels they could of made more DLC more Skyrim.

Anyway for me I'm going for the Dawnguard since you know...I'm good and stuff like that. They do sound pretty awesome and I ALWAYS hate being a vampire or just trying to fight one. D:<

I got 100% on Skyrim achievements and no doubt this one will have more, they're clearly throwing down the gauntlet at me and I intend to accept.

I'm going to play Dawnguard and keep Skyrim clean of elves filth Vampires.

I'll get it if it's 800 MS points. Because I also want "From Ashes" for ME3.

I'm stoked for it to be sure, but Bethesda has a history of releasing "Game of the Year" Editions with all the DLC included. As much as I would like to just continue saying SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY, I do need to preserve some of that. So I will enjoy my Skyrim copy for now, and just log hundreds more hours once the GoTY Edition comes out. Sorry Bethesda, I need to eat!

Oh hell yeah, I'll be getting it the day it comes out. My first play through will be with my main character with the Dawnguard, but I definitely have to make a character just be a vampire and om nom nom on people now.

I'll probably get it eventually, but not from the get go.

I was kinda disappointed with how quickly I put Skyrim down, and I'm not entirely sure this is gonna make me pick it back up. It looks really good for a vampire DLC, but in the end... it's just a vampire hunter DLC.

I was hoping they were gonna bust out some brand new environments and take us to really interesting places, but it looks like it's just gonna be some more snow. Don't get me wrong, I like snow, but I want some luscious green forest, or maybe even a little bit of dry desert.

Oh, and I'll join the Dawnguard. Not even really an option. I hated the brief time I was a Vampire.

Where's the "wait to see if there's spears" option??

Yes, I care about spears that much. Horse combat + spears. COUCHED LANCE DAMAGE FOR EVERYONE.

I would... except that parts of my computer are practically from the middle of the technological renaissance era (my CPU and motherboard, mainly).
