Im going to make a new character for dawnguard, the problem with my old one is he's king of everything and its just gotten too ridiculous.

Single greatest problem with Elder Scrolls games - at some point, you turn into a god.

I would like to point out that you are stronger then a god at the end of Shivering Isles you turn into a daedric lord that cannot die, at least the 9 divines can be killed.

Hell yes im getting this! It looks pretty cool, more content is alway's good and im interested to see if they are going to make Vampirisim more fun now. Currently I find it to be really "meh" but it looks like it could be pretty cool with this DLC.

Three characters. One Nord Warrior who sided with the Imperials, and becomes a Dawnguard. One Khajiit Assassin who sided with the Imperials, and becomes a Dawnguard. And one High Elf Mage who sided with the Sotrmcloaks, and becomes a Vampire...because she's a dick.

Easy, my Imperial will become a part of the Dawnguard and my High Elf wizard will become a Vampire!

Question: Does the crossbow have it's own skill tree, or is it mixed in with archery? Hope to get the beta tonight.

Mixed with Archery, but both Vampires and Werewolves get their own perk tree!

Can't wait for it, I normally play good and pure evil so I'll have a chance to enjoy both story lines. I just kind of wish I didn't genocide the entire map already, because it would have been even more fun in vampire mode. Here's hoping for a brand new map full of killable NPCs!!

Probably not, as my game recently glitched and now my favorite character's save file is royally screwed. If I touch water, the game freezes. This makes traversing large swaths of the map a real pain, and certain trap doors in dungeons can cause a console restart now.

I suppose this might be fixed in an upcoming patch, but if not, no Dawnguard for me.

I had that problem too. It happens because they changed the water in the latest update.

There is a fix. You delete your game data, (not your saves), and your update data. Then you just reinstall the game data and the update, and then you go underwater to see if it works.

I did it, and it worked right away. If someone has already told you this, sorry. Good luck.

As for me, definitely getting Dawnguard. Probably will join the Dawnguard, but I thought I was going to be fighting against the Empire when I started Skyrim too. I'll know when I meet them both, but in my experience vampires haven't ever been all that nice so far. Well some vampires have been nice to me, but one of the 4 of them was an assassin, and two more I think just wanted to eat me.

Actually, Dead Money was my favorite.

However, that was mostly because it was the only one that didn't bug the F@#K out. I also liked the story, and the weapons.

Being a Vamp in Skyrim is a little less annoying than it was in Oblivion, though. Being able to survive in Sunlight is a plus. The non-regen is annoying, but it's a fair trade in my book.
Now all they have to do is to put in a code that considers shade. That would be epic.

I have no interest in playing Skyrim anymore ever since it bored me to tears. I saw what Dawnguard has to offer, and it doesn't interest me at all. I won't be getting it, probably ever.

Yes, I'll play as the Dawnguard first, and as a vampire with a second character. Mainly because one of the few things more badass than vampires are vampire hunters.
