Poll: Who's going to get Red Dead Redemption at launch?

I've come to the conclusion to only buy a Rockstar game if it is last-gen. Praise GTA4 all you want, it didn't do it for me, and neither does their marketing strategy.

I've never enjoyed westerns in the past and I was very disappointed with GTA4. So I'll have to see some gameplay before I consider it. It's very unlikely I ever buy it though.

The IGN review is up. Got a 9.7 or something. So I'm betting it's pretty good. And, I know, most people gave GTA IV a 10, but that's because they ignored the bugs, which is the only thing they had to gripe about this time, and they even admit it's not often. I'm thinking they learned their lesson in giving GTA IV a 10, and have used this amazing game as a segway back into reliable scoring.

It does look entertaining. I'd love to hear what you think of it when it comes out. Unless there's a "Final" and "Fantasy", or "Gears" and "War" in the title, I usually wait to read the public opinion on games.

I'm probably going to snag Alan Wake later in the week, though. I think that's going to be awesome.

I'll be doing a user review if I can tear myself away, so keep an eye out. >_o
