Poll: Who's looking forward to Mass Effect 2?

i thoroughly enjoyed the first one, mainly because of the story and the characters.

i know some people say that the story has all been done before, but it adds twists to the plot.

plus, i also like it because i just find rpgs in general overwhelming, especially jrpgs. i do like jrpgs, but they just love to bog them down with complex jargon and battle schemes. so, i do prefer western rpgs.

but anyway, enough of my opinion, what about you? are you looking forward to the next installment, or were you ever interested at all?

a personal high for me in this game is that stealth will be incorporated into one of the classes, infiltrator i think with the invisibility, and alot of the voice cast. some famous names, especially some of the people from the new battlestar galactica, an american tv series i thoroughly enjoyed...

God yes I am. I'm playing through Mass Effect again so I'll remember what the hell happened in preparation for ME2, and this latest playthrough has thoroughly rekindled my love of Mass Effect. I can't wait for ME2. It comes out right before my birthday too.

On a related note, I happened to be browsing the Mass Effect wiki just earlier today and came upon this report regarding Mass Effect 2, which I believe fellow Wrex-and-Krogan-in-general-lovers will appreciate almost as much as I do: "If Wrex survives, Shepard finds he has united all the Krogan under Clan Urdnot to combat the genophage and strengthen the Krogan."

Words cannot describe how happy I was to read that.

None of the responses really fit, so I'll just say this. I did enjoy the first game, but for whatever reason, I'm just not interested in the sequel. Maybe it's apathy, but Mass Effect 2 doesn't scream "MUST BUY!" at me the way BioShock 2 does.

Mass Effect 1 is just awesome! I'm a huge fan.
I replayed it recently to get me all psyched and ready for number 2! And whoo-boy am I ready!
I got my game-world all perfectly set up:

- Wrex is alive
- Ashley (the jerk) is dead
- The council survived
- Saren committed suicide
And
- Captain Anderson took his place as the human representative on the council!

Bring on Number 2!

I am approaching it with caution as the first was was borderline average and full of glaring problems from gameplay to story that I could go on a massive rant about but I wont. The gameplay looks a lot better this time around which I find the be a very good improvement, but if the story doesn't pull through then my inner sci fi geek is going to have to give up hope on this series. Only reason I am even considering buying the second game is because I feel there is some hope for it and my love of sci fi has my praying this turns out to be good and not another mess.
