Daniel Craig. I like the more action oriented route they have taken with the newer Bond films. Most of the older ones felt like they were dragging on for me.
You call Casino Royale "action-oriented"?
It is for me. I'm not a big fan of action movies, they're usually done very poorly in my opinion. Also I just consider this to me more action oriented than the older ones. The Pierce Brosnan films had a good bit of action, but they were trash.
I'm not saying it's a bad film, it's great if you ask me, but it wasn't that action packed. I dunno about the Brosnan films being trash though, I hear GoldenEye is considered one of the best in the series.
I think brosnan's best movie as bond was goldeneye.

Sean Connery. The voice. THE VOICE!
Ya but in a few of the movies his old accent came through a little bit (Suck it Trebek).
But ya he was a great bond I prefer Daniel Craig though.

Craig. He does the tortured soul very well, which is the personality I would mostly apply to a killer and a spy. After Craig, I think Timothy Dalton is under-appreciated as Bond; he had the gleam in the eye, but whenever there was violence and action, he turned hard and cold as a double-0 should. Third would be Sir Connery; he is cool and all and I can understand why he is on top of the chart, but for me, I just think the other two do the role better. Roger Moore and Mr Brosnan gets a shared fourth for being pretty much of the same stock and Mr Lazenby a very dead last.

Connery first definitely.
Craig a close second.
Although I loved Brosnan as bond (And goldeneye is my fav bond film ever, Sean Bean is awesome) I thought the films let him down. Tomorrow never dies was ok but the other two, I thought, were rubbish.

I grew up with Brosnan's films, so I'd say him. He just seemed to have Bond's suave nature and coolness under pressure down to a T, just watch the scene in Goldenye where he programs a remote mine and casually shrugs off the hail of bullets hitting the wall he's hiding behind.

Brosnan for Goldeneye alone, I try to ignore his later films. Craig is a rubbish Bond, Casino Royale was dull and Quantum was even worse with one of the most retarded plots ever.

Oh and he cried, what a fucking pussy.

Sean Connery defined what James Bond should be so he definitely wins this, although Daniel Craig is a strong contender and deserves second place.

There's no doubt in my mind that Connery is the best Bond ever. He's smooth, witty, and embodies everything that Bond is.

Sean Connery.
He is THE Bond. No one else can compare. Although Brosnan was pretty good.

Sorry guys, Connery is classic but Roger Moor is the one that's in my favorite 007 movies: Live & Let Die, View to a Kill, Octopussey (the 007 movie with THE best title).

He also did Bullseye which is frikin hilarious.

Sean Connery, really. I love Daniel Craig as a modern Bond, however.
Brosnan sucked as a bond. Absolutely terrible. I'm glad he's gone.

Bronson was the one who got me into the series when I was younger, Goldeneye and all. Between the movie, then the game, I got hooked into the franchise and sat down and watched all of them sequenchly. I still haven't seen Quantom. Casino wasn't bad, but Craig didn't exactly fit the super smooth Bond roll like Connery or Bronson did.

If you think Roger Moore is a good Bond, then watch moonraker.

Lazer battles. IN SPACE!!! That was the movie that made me belive there should be purges in Hollywood. Larry the cable guy made me buy a Robespiere costume.

Well everyone's favourite Bond seems to be the one they grew up with, so mine is Pierce Brosnan

Daniel Craig is the least attractive man I have ever laid eyes on

Pierce Brosnan easily. His movies were the best. Daniel Craig is second; but there is huge gap between first and second.

My choice instead was the original, and in my opinion the only true James Bond, Sean Connery. The only man truly fitting to utter that classic phrase:

"Bond. James Bond"
Aye, I can't see anyone else fit the Bond role better the Sean. He's my all time fav actor, and I'm not just saying that because I like he played Indy's dad.

You gotta understand I'm a huge Indy fan.

By far, this. I loved Sean Connery, and Daniel Craig filled the shoes of bond fairly well, but I couldn't stand Brosnan.
