My personal favorite is Johnny because he was the most morally grey of the case and that led into some interesting situations hell he was going to shoot a kid in order to further reach his goal.

Each JoJo has something to set them apart.
Johnathan had bravery, even in the face of death.
Joseph had cunning, and his final resort plan which even works on ultimate beings.
Jotaro had unyielding calmness, which helped in the most epic bluff ever.
Josuke [4] had duality, a nice guy until you talk shit about his hair or friends.
Giorno had ambition, will to put everything at stake to further his goals.
Jolyne... I'm not sure what she had, but it was bizarre.
Johnny had the gray morality, which kept him interesting until the end.
Josuke [8]... uh... has 4 balls? Won a Lamborghini in an ant fight? I know about as much about him as he does.
...Y'know what? I'm casting my vote with Johnny.

For me, it's Jonathan. Yes, yes, I know, for many he is just a boring "knight in shining armor" archetype.
But you know what? I like that about him. I like that he is honorable, honest, brave. I like that he is respectful to others. I like how he is not just dumb muscle. Yes, he doesn't do clever trickery, but he is still a LOT smarter than the average anime action protagonist (which is, frankly, not that hard to do).
Also, he was the protagonist of the series long enough to have an impact but not long enough to overstay his welcome.
My second pick goes to Josuke. He has the best traits of all the previous JoJos: he is a normal, honest guy, but not without love for trickery and scheming, he is polite to others, unless you piss him off and he knows how to think on the move.

I voted Josuke but I honestly can't choose between him or Joseph plus I knew Joseph would get more votes anyway. Josuke has a really cool and interesting power that gets in extremely neat ways. He's kinda like Joseph-lite in that he's sneaky and prefers using clever moves to gain the advantage than just raw power, or more accurately, to move the target to use his raw power. Plus, while not as memetic as Joseph, he is still a funny dude.
Jojo the Monkey, of course. Something must be wrong with the voting because he's not on the list.

No Jo for for me, yo. I'm not into the series. I know some other guys that watch it drunk, but that's not me.
I only watched the anime-

Josuke- He was kinda plain. He was just a badass for the sake of it.
The fiurth one- He's ok at the moment. At least he different from Josuke by having a complex with his hair.

I love his personality and the fact he uses brains over bronze to win his fights. He is my Joestar.
When you fight Joseph you will see red as he pissed you off and you make mistake after mistake after fucking mistake til it's to late
Runner up would be Jolyne I loved Stone Ocean and her use of Stone free was really creative considering she had a weaker punchy ghost.

I want to pick Speedwagon. Because Speedwagon. Sure he's no Jojo, but Speedwagon is Speedwagon. That'll do.
It's hard to top Joseph. Old Joseph is just a delight every time he was on screen. And younger Joseph with his "I set down three different kinds of strings" strategies to win his battles was always fun.
Jonathan was with us shortly, but he's a real heroic fellow. It's hard to hate his pure heart and cinnamon rollness.
