As little as I like Fox, I would still pick Fox above all the others you have on the poll there. I refuse to watch MSNBC anymore because of Maddow and Olbermann.
Maddow is not that bad. She is an opinion pundit, and she certainly is liberal, but she will debate like a civilized human being, which cannot be said for Beck, O'Reily, Hannity, or any of the things hosting Fox and Friends. Olbermann's vitriol would be a very suitable alternate opinion to O'Reily, but he bogs himself down over semantics. His hour-long special commentary on Health Care a while back was really, really good, it's just that after he finishes ranting about something that actually matters he starts scraping around for little trivialities again. Though, as others have said, the Daily Show/Colbert are the best news sources by a wide margin, partly because the world is too ridiculous to examine straight-faced.

Here is a good Daily Show clip that really does a great job of showing how the Faux News propaganda machine works. The stuff relevant to our topic at hand starts at about 3:30.
You surely do realize that the Daily Show is itself propaganda masked as comedy?

O'reilly actually is probably one of the most fair hosts that I have seen as of late even as stubborn and backwards as he can be at times. Regardless of what people think of them, I still can easily bear to watch Beck or Hannity before putting up with Maddow or Olbermann. I hardly believe I would agree with much Olbermann would have to say about gov health care unless he was pretty much against it, which I doubt. To each his/her own though...

I would pick http://www.Infowars.com above any of the news channels that the OP has posted, if you want hard-hitting news that isn't a complete fluff job.

As an Englishman, I am not familiar with your yanky news channels. However, I have caught fox news every now and then and compared to British news coverage, Fox news is really bad, apocalyptically so.
This.

For far more unbiased American politics, I like to read newfeeds from BBC.
Because BBC has absolutely no record of manipulating the truth or being government tools.
No, they just fix ph
one-in results and do a huge amount of self-promotion. I still love them, though, despite their flaws.

Why has FOX got 33 votes? Seriously,as a gamer, you shouldn't be voting them. Doesn't anybody else remember the terrible report they did on mass effect or any video game. Not to mention they are ridiculously biased and just cut off anyone who proves them wrong.

But anyway, all news channels are bad. Some are less biased some are more but in the end all of them sensationilize or, in the case of the BBC feel the ened to post both sides of the story (anyone remember when they let the guy who thought he had a perpetual motion machine on. A 12 year old would realize that it is impossible)

Unbaised....have you ever seen the Daily Show or the Colbert Report ripp the to shreds because of their massive bais?
If you're watching the Daily Show and Colbert Report for news you are already in really bad shape, it's on Comedy Central for christ's sake.

This is why I hate Fox:

Also because Sarah Palin is joining Fox as a news contributor, that's just wrong.

I've been a member for a while, but inactive for a little while too. And I've recently noticed that you guys bash Fox News a lot.

I mean, I realize that they're not exactly perfect, but their news packages and stories are a lot better done, more well written, and intelligent than CNN and MSNBC. And the opinion shows actually have multiple opinions on: Fox's opinion hosts actually allow the other party member to finish a sentence. CNN and MSNBC and others allow rampant opinion to perforate their news program whereas Fox's unbiased news segments are really unbiased.

So, I ask, why do you guys always bash Fox news. It's usually been CNN and Liberals like Jack Tonphson who ban video games, so I really, really don't understand why you guys hate the 'right wing news.' Conservatives are always for free speech and freedom, so again, why the hate for them?
Unbiased? Listen to this conversation Beck has: http://www.alternet.org/blogs/sex/139988/glenn_beck:_'gay_marriage_will_make_the_universe_collapse'/

American media in general has become an absolute joke, but Fox stands out because a lot of their commentators make ridiculous comments (Mr. Beck comes to mind) and then expect to be taken seriously.

When I can I'll watch BBC. Otherwise I'll be sticking to the Daily Show & Colbert Report, because it's not like they're doing a worse job of informing me than any other U.S. news network, and they at least make me laugh.

We bash Fox because they have bias views on our hobby and it shows whenever they decide to attack videogames. As for best news station I have no say in it because I don't watch enough news to begin with.

Well I dislike them because, from my expeirences, they are biased, but, again from my expeirences, most, if not all news anythings are biased in one way or another.

Isn't Bill O Reilly's show on Fox.
Mate I've seen that guy cut peoples microphone off for having a contrary opinion after basically lecturing them for the entire interview.
Cant see how that qualifies as open-minded.

To all the people quoting the post saying "the unbiased sections are really unbiased" and then posting some video with some vile bias in it: Before you pat yourselves on the back for how clever you are, please note that Fox doesn't run Beck, fox & friends, and Hannity 24/7. Posting clips from early morning think tanks and prime time commentators isn't proving anyone wrong, it's just a stupid manipulative excuse for an argument.

BBC all the way. The BBC seems to be neutral so you get a less bias report. I've watched FOX news I had to do about it as part of my media course at college. FOX news is not fair and balanced, Bill O Reilly is one ignorant bastard who doesn't let any one with a different opinion speak on his show. He interrupts them, tells them to shut up or turns there mike off. I also had to watch out Foxed... no FOX is fucked.

Also the whole thing about BBC being bias is a little stupid, it's mostly because of it's neutral stand-point that it faces allegations of bias. A lot of right wingers criticise the BBC for being bias towards the left wing and vice versa.

Read more here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_the_BBC#Allegations_of_bias

I think this can often be the trouble when you try and remain neutral, the right will say your left and the left will say your right.
